Enchantment (1)

Artifact (1)

It is said by some that when you take another's life you lose a bit of your own, and that goes triple for killing Angelic forces and their allies. Which is why if your opponent doesn't pay the 3 life toll then Athreos, God of Passage will not take your creatures across the river to the underworld. On that note, the deck has many life and death themed cards.

While generally an Angel deck (plus a few Bloomburrow Bats), what makes it special is the plethora of Wrath/board-wipe cards which, thanks to Athreos, make life - and death - far harder for your opponents than you. Especially if you have Liesa, Forgotten Archangel and/or Athreos, Shroud-Veiled in play; and these two, along with Drana and Linvala and Shadrix Silverquill can serve as alternate Commanders as well. Beyond that, the deck's strategy is simply soar, strike, and slay. One of my most successful decks, its only true weaknesses are mill, counter, and prison features.

(Side note: if playing one-on-one then Athreos, Shroud-Veiled could be the better Commander.)
