The main idea of the deck is put Xantcha under someone's control (usually the person at the table would want dead like a combo deck or stax player), and then make people discard Cards so Xantcha's ability looks enticing to use to draw more cards and try to outrace the discard.

Some ways to make Xantcha's ability easier to use are Heartstone, Sol Ring, Cabal Coffers, and really any of the other mana rocks. Also heartstone makes her ability cheap for everyone so it's easier for opponents to use.

Some pay offs for Discard are Waste Not, Angrath, the Flame-Chained's ulti, Megrim and Liliana's Caress, and Fell Specter

Other cards that work really well with the deck are Pyrohemia, and Pestilence to kill off all creatures with less toughness than Xantcha to make sure she can swing, Varchild, Betrayer of Kjeldor to cause more chaos by giving opponents creatures, Exquisite Blood will help me to gain life whenever Xantcha's ability is used, and Bloodchief Ascension since Xantcha causes life loss it should be easy to get counters and will stave off death with it's lifegain
