Drop Jace and both Luminarch Ascensions and add in the 4th Myth Realized and add 2 Silent Arbiter.
Drop the Schocklands.

Alright that seems great actually. Thanks for the extra budget.

If your casting so many white spells (and since this is a semi-troll deck) you could always try Angel's Feather and gain lots of life. Elixir of Immortality could also gain life and stall the game, and it'll also shuffle all your void-dmg cards back into your library.

Recumbent Bliss gains you life, stops a creature, and gives the opponent the finger. :P

Only card I would consider is Elixir of Immortality. I have had it before and it tends to be good in turbo fog decks but I fear I may not have enough fog spells to use it to it's full potential.

I would like to know how this deck works against tier 1 decks, and what is your plan/match against control?

I've been running this on MTGO and one thing I have found, is that Gideon, Champion of Justice is an absolute HOUSE in this deck. Also, I would heavily suggest adding more ascensions, MR just doesn't have the ability to punch through damage unless you go for the kill, after wiping the board AND with mana ope + protection spells when they try and kill it with all the removal they haven't been able to play yet. One more thing, I've found that Howling Mine are a must. I've felt more comfortable keeping hands with naught but a HM in than I have keeping grips full of fogs. The extra draw is so strong in this sort of deck, I'd replace Jace and your Anticipates with HM (Either focus on winning with damage, or with Mill, Jace goes for the latter).

MrOtter do you have a checklist? It's cool to see someone doing well with a similar deck.

I meant decklist, not checklist.

Love it! Love it! My suggestions would be 1x Quicken (at the very worst a cantrip, at best an instant wrath, great for man lands) and try out a copy of Narset Transcendent . This is just the deck she was made for! Extra Fog/Anticipate; Extra wrath on creatures with "offspring" like Wurmcoil and Hangarback Walker. btw, Gideon is superb in this deck. A third wrath goes a long way, too. I like End Hostilities for its ability to take out equipment in longer games.

Is there any reason you're not also playing at least one Detention Sphere out of the sideboard? It's your closest substitute for Maelstrom Pulse along with Echoing Truth, which is admittedly inferior.

There are ways to make it cheaper! Drop the Celestial Colonnades and Hallowed Fountains and replace with basics. You can honestly drop the Path to Exiles and run something like Reality Shift. I'm not even sure if the Path to Exiles are that good in the deck yet. I'm considering dropping them for something that can deal with non creature permanents.

Something like Azor's Elocutors seems on theme here. Not sure if it would be any good, but it would be pretty amusing.

I've considered Azor's Elocutors before. They're interesting but I think Luminarch Ascension is just more efficient and practical.

With eldrazi popping up in my local meta, speed is not a game I can play so I'm back to turbo and enjoying your recent changes.

Not sure if any of these suggestions came up as I have not been through all of the comments from edits past.

Anticipate vs Telling Time I'm leaning towards telling as it sets up a draw instead of bottoming two cards.

Then working on my side board I have to deal with an eggs style deck and every now and then a Griz re animator. Any suggestions for sideboard cards there? I was using Rest in Peace but this kills the Elixer win con.

Eggs wins with Pyrite Spellbomb right? If so you can use Leyline of Sanctity. As for grizz I'm not sure. Path to Exiles seem like they would help. Relic of Progenitus would probably help

Nef says... #23

As for Anticipate vs Telling Time I think it's preference really. Most of the time when I use it I only want one of the cards so I prefer to bottom the others

The eggs deck I go against is normal artifact sacks for draws and mana creations to keep casting Open the Vaults to dig for Emrakul, the Aeons Torn so I was using Rest in peace to go against the both of them still using the 200 year old Monk turbo version I built off your version way back when lol.

Didn't have to worry about graveyard recycling for mil win con since we used Jace.

I'm still thinking about Nevermore, can name emrakul, but can't name griz since he isn't being cast.

Hmmm you could run Meddling Mage if the eggs deck doesn't run removal because it comes down a turn early and if it's desperate you can transmute Muddle the Mixture for it.
