Femme_Fatale - Thanks for the feedback. I won't be home for another 6 hours or so. I will toy around with the list when I can. I want to fight Basilisk Collar in.

I suggest upping Faith's Shield to 4 in the mainboard. And you don't need 4 Nevermores and 3 Cranial Extractions x.x

Yah I know. Changing the list is annoying on my phone xD

@Femme_Fatale - I tested with the lens but the only thing I don't like is how it falls off at the end of my turn. This is deterring me from trying out Basilisk Collar too but I may still give that a go as well.

If it is any recognition, Basilisk Collar saved my butt numerous times. Three mana a turn to swing with a 4/4 lifelink at their face is too good to pass up. What is any different if you have to spend 4 mana to make it a 4/4 lifelink that draws you cards if they block it? ADVANTAGE BOYS!

I really don't suggest Basilisk Collar. Its win more. Its not a fog. You want to draw fogs. Not equipment for your zero creatures. Same with Infiltration Lens. The reason I suggested Luminarch Ascension is so that you don't have to worry about blockers. Infiltration Lens is worse than giving it unblockable, which is bad anyway.

I value both opinions here. I agree with both as well. Hmm... time to grind out some playtesting then. Basilisk Collar would be nice vs burn. But I probably would lose before I could even use it..

How did the burn player not just save up two burn spells - one to get prevented with Faith's Shiels and then one on the stack to seal the deal? You only have one main attacker so I'm surprised they ran out of burn.

@Femme_Fatale - Without a board wipe I am doubting Myth Realizeds effectiveness. Luminarch Ascension has been putting in a lot of work. I may try to get a DoJ back in the list.

Put 2 Wrath of Gods in there instead.

Yah I meant to say whichever one didn't allow the regeneration xD I just need to figure out what to remove.

I like the list Holy Day is another good fog spell.

mortilus says... #15

You should probably add Comeuppance. Its mana cost is higher, but you won't be doing anything with that mana late game anyway, and this could easily wipe their field

April 14, 2015 1:52 a.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #16

That isn't legal in modern mortilus.

April 14, 2015 1:55 a.m.

Nef says... #17

@mortilus - As femme said, it isn't modern legal. Thanks though :)

@DragoLion - At this point I don't think I need more fog spells. But thank you for the suggestion :)

have you thought about maybe running Ensnaring Bridge?

April 14, 2015 5:59 a.m.

Nef says... #19

Well Ensnaring Bridge is a great card but it would defeat the purpose of getting big Myth Realized creatures out as I would never be able to attack with them.

Just food for thought I just wanna help. I playtested it on untap. Granted it wasn't against anything you will find in the current meta but the one thing that killed me was eldrazis

April 14, 2015 6:49 a.m.

Nef says... #21

Thanks for the play test and I appreciate all suggestions! Hmm I suppose tron into an eldrazi is a big problem. Nevermore will be key in that matchup

April 14, 2015 9:27 a.m.

Nef says... #22

Oblivion Ring is also very very good against eldrazi

what about Tezzeret's Gambit and some planewalkers for an added proliferate angle? Gets your two win-cons more online

Greater Auramancy may have a place in your sidedeck. Not sure what to take out though.

April 14, 2015 4:01 p.m.

Nef says... #25

Greater Auramancy isn't a terrible choice but I am usually more concerned with protecting Isochron Scepter. Thanks for the suggestion :)
Tezzeret's Gambit along with some planewalkers seems interesting. I haven't really thought about running planeswalkers.
