Thank you Sagarys! I have been thinking of possible new win cons. There is always Darksteel Reactor... That was this deck's original wincon when I made it way back when xD

What about Narset Transcendent? Not as a wincon, but as something to double the value of your fogs and provide some card advantage (with 22 lands and no creatures, her +1 will proc about two thirds of the time). I'll understand if you don't want to splash just for one card, but I'm surprised there's been no mention of her so far.

Okay, now THAT is a good suggestion. Narset in fog? DEFINITE inclusion in the azorius build!

Rebound is basically useless with fog spells is it not? But her +1 is pretty good.

Nef: ...ugh. It is indeed. I just realized that.

Still, I'd argue that she's worth running for her +1 alone, not to mention her biggest flaw (lack of self-protection) is basically nonexistant in this deck, what whit all the fog effects, Silence and Faith's Shield to keep her safe. But I'll admit the part about rebounding your fogs was a total brain fart on my part. >_>

No problem square711! She still provides good card advantage. But one of the jaces might be better, I have a lot of testing to do

The azorius switch lets you run Supreme Verdict and maybe even Sphinx's Revelation.

Just screwing around with this in the playtest feature I could feel the butthurt from all of my friends. Seems fun and I like the concept behind it. It's like dbz. You're collecting energy for the spirit bomb and they just sit there silently and watch you.

@Femme_Fatale - I was considering adding in Azor's Elocutors but Jace, Memory Adept essentially does the same thing but is harder to get rid of. 5 mana might be too much mana for this deck altogether though.

But yeah, you really do need some form of draw power.

Earlier I had said that you needed draw power. But now, I think you just stall until you get Isochron Scepter and fog. Sphinx's Revelation doesn't seem necessary, but still is cool.

Hmm in tests I tried out Remand but it never really worked. Anticipate is really good for card draw. I will consider going up to 23 lands but figuring out what to cut will be kinda hard.
pumpkinwavy what do you think would be a good idea to cut.

I've never loved Silence in this deck, or really anything that doesn't fog. I think the worst cards in the deck are Silence, then Faith's Shield. But I meant to say that card draw wasn't necessary. And Anticipate is card selection, not draw. I do think Supreme Verdict and Luminarch Ascension are awesome.

Faith's Shield is pretty good with the current meta but I am considering dropping the number to 2 or 3. Silence is really flavorful but I can see that it's kinda weak. Idk, like I said I have a lot of testing to do this week

The list is going to be changing a tad within the next week probably.

Different local metas I suppose. Regardless, it's a nice deck and a heck of a pain in the butt to play against with aggro (which is a good sign). Still, might want to at least playtest an alternate wincon. Someone is eventually going to counter your combo and then you'll be in trouble without a fallback. Best of luck!
