Please comment and leave suggestions! I would love to go Esper but can't afford the lands so avoid suggesting that please. *I was able to get ahold of some Glacial Fortress borrow some Godless Shrine so I've happily gone Esper. Please avoid suggesting Sphinx's Revelation, I know it's awesome but I can't afford it.

When I got into magic around gatecrash my first deck was a mill deck that used a lot of cards like Mind Sculpt and I found that I would lose very early to anything with creatures so I moved away from mill. Now that I've got a bit more experience I'm trying mill again with a more MBC feel. The goal of this deck is to survive until turn 5/6 by removing/countering my opponent's threats and then Traumatize them, after a Traumatize Jace, Memory Adept wins the game in 2 turns with his 0. I've recently gone Esper to add consistency to my draw power and gain access to board clears since my biggest problem at FNM was being overrun by too many creatures.

I've removed Devour Flesh since with Desecration Demon a beatdown is a lot more of an option. I've also removed Quicken in favour of the versatility of Azorius Charm

Sideboard Choices:(Haven't adjusted since switching to Esper, looking for suggestions)

Blind Obedience: Sided in against aggro decks, extort is awesome.

Dispel: Used against control decks to protect my mill cards.

Doom Blade: In aggro matches against non-black decks I swap out my Duress for these.

Duress: Swap out either Dimir Charm or Doom Blade for control match-ups.

Glaring Spotlight: Lets my removal hit hexproofs.

Pithing Needle: Prevent the insta-loss vs the ever present Elixir of Immortality

Vampire Nighthawk: Sided in against aggro and especially decks with fliers.

Merciless Eviction: Was originally here because I wanted a third Supreme Verdict but now I'm thinking about bumping it to two, it's good for getting rid of that pesky Detention Sphere or double as anti-creature.

Third Place 3-1

Going Esper made a HUGE difference, plus my match-ups weren't as bad.

Round 1: Boros

Lost 0-2, made a massive misplay by forgetting I had a Psychic Strike and let my opponent bring me within burn range. Game 2, didn't seem like he had Elixir of Immortality in his sideboard so I didn't side Pithing Needle... I was wrong, though I still almost beat him down with Desecration Demon.

Round 2: Selesnya Lifegain with Archangel of Thune

Won 2-0, played three Jace, Memory Adept over three turns Game 1. Game 2 was closer but Supreme Verdict won it or me.

Round 3: New Player with Slivers

Won 2-0, spent most of the game explaining cards/effects and giving tips.

Round 4: Bant Control

Won 2-0, let him Sphinx's Revelation as often and for however much he wanted, countered his Thragtusks and got a Doom Blade off on an AEtherling after he tapped out for a Sphinx's Revelation.
