Flashfreeze s good idea. Thanks for the suggestion !!

@abaldkj Negate or Mana Leak ;) thank you for taking the time to look at the deck

@Chaotix88 yeah I've considered it but it really doesn't fit well.

this is aggro. Mana Leak and Vapor Snag barely fit in. anyone can see that killing an illusion is pointless because itll die anyhow. get some card draw in Neurok Commando does nicely, has the opposite effect to the illusions, if you copy it with Phantasmal Image the image has nothing to worry about, keep the card draw up and you can keep wailing on the opponent by dropping more and more creatures.

Mana Leak is there to counter anything that tries to take out my Lord of the Unreal , Wurmcoil Engine , Steel Hellkite , etc. Vapor Snag is there to bounce any annoying creatures that my opponent decides to play. And my Illusions don't die due to Lord of the Unreal s ability. Also I could Vapor Snag something like Grave Titan then when my opponent tries to play it next turn Mana Leak it. A well placed counter can turn the tides of a game.

i really think mana leak in this deck dosen't fit. i realy think that in this deck turn aside do better because your objective is to keep lord of unreal and architect on the battle field. combined with spellskite you can do that more eficiently than using mana leak. i tested your deck and very often i allways keep a island untaped. it hapens naturaly if i get concern about my lord or architect get shocked or galvanic blasted or incinerated and have to save two island untaped i slowm my castings and mana leak is only good until some early point in the game. oh and really this deck can aford 1 mindslaver is fun to get control of target oponent. :)

What would you suggest taking out for your suggestions ?

I know Mana Leak so there is 3 spots open and i'm guessing -1 Phyrexian Metamorph so there is 4 spots. So +2 Spellskite +2 Turn Aside ?

Gitaxian Probe over Ponder . I really like to know my opponents hand in beatdown, I really feel it gives me a great advantage, and this is especially exploitive since you have 3 types of generals to feed your weenies.

You'll be spitting out creatures so quickly that an AEther Adept dropping on turn 3 could mean the end of a game for an opponent due to lack of blockers. I kinda like it here over Vapor Snag because it just adds on the beatdown.

3 of the AEther Adept + 6 ways of copying the effect could mean absolute nightmares for opponents trying to survive this wicked beatdown. Just be sure to set up a sideboard for a lot of the creature light decks out there currently.

Also, I REALLY like the idea of using Grand Architect to spit out a Phyrexian Ingester and just going for murderous damage to someone on 4th/5th turn. Could be an option over the Contagion Engine for main board, and side the engine in for weenies.

I concur about the Caged Sun , I would also say that you could probably do with -1 Dismember , with no black mana I would say you probably don't want to spend 12 life to kill 3 creatures.

The issue that I see, and it's one that's killing the meta in my area from running these decks is Venser's Tap Out. Between the Contagion Clasp , Tumble Magnet , and Stonehorn Dignitary it effectively locks this kind of deck down.

How do you deal with decks like these? With little control you fall to Venser, the Sojourner

Excellent deck, +1.

Only one change needed here in my opinion.

Swap one wurmcoil for another metamorph - you then have 2 of each of the 6 mana big boys, and a full playset of awesome versatility that can copy anything you need.

Again, brilliant deck :)

I really like the deck in general, my only concern is the fact that you took out Treasure Mage . I'd probably do 2 of those and 2 of Phantasmal dragons. I'd rather have a Wurmcoil in hand than a dragon to be honest. My reasoning is that on Turn 4 with a Grand architect on the field, it will most likely be to your advantage to drop Treasure mage search for wurmcoil and then put it on the field, by tapping treasure mage, Grand architect and of your smaller blue guys as opposed to simply dropping a phantasmal dragon.

+1
