Stax

This deck isn't as fast as other cEDH decks, so we need ways to slow the game down to provide us time to assemble our win-cons.

Stax

• Collector Ouphe - Shuts off mana rocks and other commonly used artifacts such as Isochron Scepter.

• Manglehorn - Spot removal and Asymmetrical artifact hate.

• Root Maze - Slows the board down; we aren't too worried because we have lots of dorks.

• Sphere of Resistance - Slows the board down; we aren't too worried because Nylea evens out creature costs.

• Thorn of Amethyst - Slows the board down; we aren't too worried because most of our plan includes creatures.

• Winter Orb - Slows the board down; we aren't too worried because we have lots of dorks and lands that tap for big mana

Breaking parity

• Seedborn Muse - Probably the most important piece to keep our mana available

• Nylea, Keen-Eyed - By herself, she provides cost reduction for our creatures

• Big lands (Gaea's Cradle + Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx + Itlimoc, Cradle of the Sun) and Enchanted lands (Elvish Guidance + Utopia Sprawl + Wild Growth)
