The title really explains it all. When I thought about it, if you eliminate threats from your opponents hand, you don't even need counter spells because, well, there is nothing to counter. If a creature does slip by, I have Bearer of Silence. Also, if the opponent has nothing in their hand, then they cannot remove Reality Smasher with a single removal.
