Nelstone I just had a thought, Outnumber is a good removal spell for this deck, usually it's 1 mana for at least 3 damage, if not more. I'm running 3 of them in my board.

Also, Feat of Resistance seems to be a good inclusion in my deck, as I run up against decks running a lot of Silkwrap, Stasis Snare, Suspension Field, Complete Disregard, even cards like Visions of Brutality.
One deck someone is running at my LGS is an Eldrazi deck that runs 12 of the white exile enchantments. Drives this deck nuts as there are no answers to it. Feat of Resistance goes a long way to countering this strategy, and is good against other spot removal as well.
I'm considering running either a split 2/2 with Valorous Stance or cutting something to run more Feats.

Outnumber is a tough card for me to go with. It's completely dependent on the board state, and can be blown out with removal spell. If they don't have mana up to respond, I can see it being a little better.
Feat of Resistance is a good protection spell, but doesn't protect against devoid cards (such as Complete Disregard and Visions of Brutality), so that's something to consider.

Have you tested this deck with Reckless Bushwhacker?
February 8, 2016 12:46 p.m.
I originally had 2-3 Reckless Bushwhacker in the deck. I found that you want to build out your boardstate and only attack with the "non-lords", specifically Expedition Envoy and Makindi Aeronaut, a lot of the time. Since you don't want to lose Stone Haven Outfitter or Weapons Trainer in combat, Reckless Bushwhacker's worth, at least in this deck, dropped.

You are right, it doesn't help against devoid, however if you find an exile enchantment heavy meta, feat seems a strong inclusion.

Have you tried out Firemantle Mage? I use to have a Mardu allies deck that ran him and he absolutely killed.
February 8, 2016 11:08 p.m.
I haven't tested Firemantle Mage just yet. I've been running Kor Bladewhirl in that spot, as I think first strike is better than menace. I'm open to discussion on this topic, though, because I'm not sure.

I'm now leaning more towards Firemantle Mage. I think it may be better at closing out tight games than Kor Bladewhirl.

Nelstone just FYI, got the deck built up yesterday and will start testing today, I'll keep you up-to-date :)

Storm46, terrific! I hope you have fun playing it. If you don't, well, it was pretty cheap! ;)

Wow this deck is really fun to play! I tested the old version without Firemantle Mage and I have to say that I love the Captain's Claws into Stoneforge Masterwork combo, once you have a lot of tokens you can get in for insane amounts of DMG on turn 4-5.
Only problem I was having was with the low amount of lands, but that was probably bad shuffling (have to test more). The removal is good for both small and big creatures. I'll test the deck with the addition of Firemantle Mage soon.

Also worth considering would be: Lantern Scout and/or Reckless Bushwhacker
February 11, 2016 6:09 a.m.
I had Reckless Bushwhacker in the place of Firemantle Mage in the original build, but found that the deck sometimes wasn't going wide often enough to take advantage of it.
I'd like to include Lantern Scout, I just don't know how. It only gets lifelink on offense, and that takes away from it's utility.
I'm thinking about adding one more 1CC drop creature to bring the total to 9. At 9, the likelihood of seeing a 1CC drop in your opening hand is pretty good. My only option is Cliffside Lookout, unless I went with Kitesail Scout. It's not an ally, but being a Kor Scout, it has synergies with the deck.

I tried the deck with excellent results have met the enemy in return of Kozilek slaying creatures to turn 5
February 11, 2016 3:47 p.m.
Also Flaying Tendrils are a problem because they kill creatures
February 11, 2016 4:01 p.m.
In the case of sweepers like Kozilek's Return and Flaying Tendrils, you just need to play smart and play around them. Don't overload the board, withhold a few creatures to play afterwards. If you have excess mana, sacrifice an Ally Encampment to save an ally. Side in Make a Stand to survive Kozilek's Return.

against Eldrazi ramp there needs to win by 6 turn and against Kozilek return the only one to save Stone Haven Outfitter the group is equipped with bone saw but Stone Haven Outfitter he was not in the battlefield. I tink titan's strenght on stoneforge accolyte o weapons trainer save the company

Due to lots of token strategies abounding at my LGS, I am also running 3x Boiling Earth in the side.
February 12, 2016 6:50 a.m.
good test against Eldrazi very strong I arrived at 22 and lands taken away fire mage and added two titan's strenght
February 12, 2016 2:50 p.m.
against atakartared thought of losing instead I made 1 to 1

Played FNM with the deck yesterday. Of course i had the old built without Firemantle Mage and I have to say that i got wrecked. Three things i learned is that the deck needs to be faster, I need more play-testing and it needs an alternative win-condition, playing against different opponents I had problems with decks that spawned a lot of 1/1 tokens (even though i sided in Boiling Earth and with a deck that had Deathtouch and Lifelink (black/white). It does well against other aggro decks but like Nelstone said we maybe need more one-drops Cliffside Lookout o even maybe Gideon, Ally of Zendikar but at least times 3 and that's an expensive card. So that's my two-cents I will be still testing this deck and might add in Lantern Scout and orReckless Bushwhacker or even Kazuul's Toll Collector.

NelstoneI'm super-excited for this deck! It will get it's share of play-testing before hitting the FNM table at my local store. I already see a lot of good combos that can come out of this deck and I love the price tag on it! Thank you!
