So, once you hit them with Master of Cruelties and get their life total to 1...how are you going to finish them? With a searing spear?

Might consider adding more creatures, or more burn. I personally would opt for Bump in the Night or Pillar of Flame .

have a master of cruelties to trade if you are looking to make this.

While I agree with you my question is what in the world do I take out? Everything seems to be pretty vital to keep me alive until I can cast the master

id add Staff of Nin to finish people off, and drop Artful Dodge because its only relevant if u have Master of Cruelties out. u have enough removal for him to get through in my opinion

i like the idea. its very similar to my deck a... different... grixis control. if you have time, could you take a look at it? otherwise, i second Staff of Nin . it gives you card advantage as well as a finisher after Master of Cruelties gets through. however, with so many instants and sorceries, maybe Chandra, the Firebrand would fit better?

If I were you, I would use Omenspeaker in place of Glimpse the Future .

You get a defender and scry two for 2 mana. Yeah, you can't put cards in your hand but scry 2 is nice to know what's coming up.
