I named this deck the way I did because of the several very bad and obscure lands present. I learned about many of these cards through making this deck and I expect it to probably be very bad. The main idea of this deck is using Vedalken Plotter and Role Reversal to exchange control of your really shitty lands for your opponent's half decent ones, maybe even Brand them back if I want to make sure my opponent truly has zero lands. Why would I ever bother make this in legacy, a format full of extremely fast decks that win before I can do anything meaningful and hyper controlling decks that will counter anything I play? Well it is the only format that has any number of the really bad lands I want that isn't commander or vintage. You may also ask yourself when looking at the deck "What if my opponent doesn't have the colors I need?", "Why would I spend all these resources when it would be cheaper to just destroy my opponent's lands?", or "why wouldn't I just play delver or something" all of which are very good questions. My intent is to win with Field of the Dead no clue how that will work out.
