I appreciated Return to Ravnica's limited mechanics because many of them seemed excellent for the long game. (so the EDH format seemed perfect for many of them)

I suspected that extort might be insane in EDH (more so because they pushed it for multiplayer.) This deck was an experiment where I put in absolutely every extort card from Gatecrash at first.

And... as suspected extort is insane in multiplayer. Getting multiple extorts off in a 4-player game for example will net you 3,6,9 life per spell. That is a ton of life gain. The downside I realized is that a table is going to realize very quickly that you need knocked down a peg (Despite purposefully designing the deck to not look threatening from a board presence perspective) I've tried to build it from a more defensive angle but not sure I succeeded.

In Yugioh, there is a term called a floater, which is a monster that is gains you card advantage by being good against removal. Well I love Obzedat... the guy floats through everything. In a multiplayer table where there are other guys doing ridiculous things, making other people play their boardwipe to answer the ridiculous things, Obzedat just floats around all of that nonsense. He is definitely my style of card.

Things I want for the deck but don't want to buy singles. Instant-speed boardwipe is insane with Obzedat since you can float Obzedat and then boardwipe when it isn't your turn. Rout in particular is what I'm looking for.
