Invisble Stalker exalted, thoughts?
Reasoning:
Utility Land:
Cathedral of War
is in purely for the exalted trigger and helps for an extra colourless mana towards an Entreat the Angels and general casting
Vault of the Archangel is in for the life gain off a massively exalted Invisible Stalker
Moorland Haunt
is in for the extra exalted trigger off the
Sublime Archangel
Creatures:
Duty-Bound Dead is a great blocker, especially with the Regen ability, and since exalted stacks when
Sublime Archangel
enters the battlefield, it gives +2/+2 to a lone attacking Invisible Stalker
Knight of Glory
and
Knight of Infamy
are both in mainboard (rather than sideboard) so I'm not caught out playing Selesnya or Rakdos decks and not having the right Knight in, it's also an extra exalted trigger
Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis
is in for the one off alt win con bomb, with
Sublime Archangel
on field and Lingering Souls tokens, it becomes a huge attacker with the sac ability, giving board advantage
Silverblade Paladin is more of a maybeboard card, but to soulbound it with an exalted Invisble Stalker makes a lethal blow
Sublime Archangel
is self-explanatory in any exalted deck, it works incredibly well with the Lingering Souls and Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, giving a huge exalted trigger to any creature
Other Spells:
Artful Dodge If they have some annoying chump blockers, and I haven't hit the Invisble Stalker or any other evasive tactic yet, making any other creature unblockable gives me window for damage
Detention Sphere
is in for any annoying permanents, Oblivion Ring is great but the fact that I can hit multiple permanents with this choice is far better, completely wrecking token decks or a mirror match
Lingering Souls is a key element in this deck, hitting multiple of these with flashback greatly improves the synergy of
Sublime Archangel
and makes a lethal Invisible Stalker
Murder I chose over things like Ultimate Price purely for the fact it can hit almost any creature, Olivia Voldaren can trample the token gen in this deck with her ping ability, murder solves that issue
Sorin, Lord of Innistrad has no bad ability, his emblem gives the additional damage I might need to finish a game, especially when multiple emblems are hit, his +1 feeds the
Sublime Archangel
each turn, making any lone attacking creature even more brutal
Sphinx's Revelation is probably the best bomb for crazy card advantage and can also save your life with the lifegain and maybe expose the chance of a comeback from a bad game
Think Twice gives a bit of extra draw early on in the game to help draw into the bombs or mana
Tribute to Hunger
is amazing removal, especially against minimal creature decks, plus the life gain is a bit of extra stall and put's them in a bad position
