I enjoy creating these video game themed commander decks as a way to keep my kids interested in playing magic. Ode to Dragon Quest (Warrior) has been one I've been contemplating for a long time. Dragon Quest/Warrior has been one of my favorite video game franchises since I was a little kid playing the first on my Nintendo. Trying to come up with a theme that would work for this deck was a challenge because I didn't want to recreate my Ode to Final Fantasy deck. This is version 1.0 and I landed on a Venture into the Dungeon/Blink strategy. Per usual choices were made in favor of Theme over the best fit of a card. It doesn't run a tone of interaction or board wipes to compete on the same level as the other Ode To decks. Suggestions are always appreciated and welcomed.

• Esika, God of the tree/Prismatic Bridge = Yggdrasil and the Rainbow bridge you need to create in the first game to get to the dragonlord's island (commander)
