Nice mix of control and aggro +1!
A few suggestions:
1) You have a ton of counterspells and bounce effects but I don't see any boardwipes. I know you mentioned that the deck is more dual than multiplayer but boardwipes can still be very useful resets. Supreme Verdict, Cyclonic Rift, and old-fashioned Wrath of God are all reasonably costed.
2) You love bouncing and Capsize is one of the best bounce spells around. With buyback you can repeatedly keep the board locked down.
3) Is your main goal to win with 21 points of commander damage? If so, you may wanna include some more cards that make Saint Taft unblockable. Rogue's Passage and Thassa, God of the Sea are great.
4) Blue is king (queen?) of card draw. It has tons of small spells that can help you shape your hand. Brainstorm, Ponder, Preordain, and Fact or Fiction are all cheap staples.
5) Equipment: You have Stoneforge Mystic and Open the Armory. Stonehewer Giant is another equipment tutor I love. Slaps the equipment right on a creature. Swiftfoot Boots, Lightning Greaves, Sword of Vengeance, and Loxodon Warhammer are all great, affordable pieces of equipment if you're going the voltron smash route.
6) Pillow forting: You have Angelic Arbiter. Propaganda, Sphere of Safety, and Norn's Annex are also great protection cards that prevent you from being attacked.
What to cut? Some of the weaker counterspells and bounce effects, Talent of the Telepath (fun card but not really on theme with your deck), the two "ordeal" enchantments (not really a strong enough of an effect), Ethercaste Knight (again not really strong enough of an effect).
Hope this helps!

+1 Looks pretty good. Ive actually been considering making an EDH with my St. Traft and going spirit tribal, glad to see him get some love.

Thanks Alko897, I intend to do a spirit tribal with Brago as general.

I like Force of Will and Pact of Negation, your opponents will play their best cards while you're tapped out! I like these better than Cancel for sure and maybe Void Shatter, although I do see the value in exiling a countered spell.

If you're going to play aggro with this play more cards to give more pumping, also since you're running blue, throw in card draw for the sake of running 100 and you'll want to run more combos that don't use your commander as the base...'you're running way to little creatures and running way too little rocks,
August 16, 2016 4:17 p.m.
I had to take a look at the French banlist since I don't play this style. I agree with MagikSigma you need more rocks, Commander's Sphere, Thought Vessel, Sapphire Medallion, etc. No Serra Ascendant? Also there are much better counterspells you could use Spell Crumple, Desertion.

I am aware this is a french list and my comments were based on that understanding. In 1v1 tempo is far more important than in multiplayer, but like I said before this is a great list.

Some comments are better left unanswered. MTG is all about interaction and help building decks.

Took note of all the good suggestions! On my next order I'm gonna look forward them. Thanks for all the helpers and new friends here.

DarthJynx I'm seriously thinking about Rafiq and the green splash you said.
August 16, 2016 6:50 p.m.
pretty solid, I would recommend adding a Cyclonic Rift and possibly Odric, Master Tactician. other than that, solid deck.
August 16, 2016 8:40 p.m.
Alright, i'm here. I'm going to assume that this is a budget build so ill try keep it low. This deck is decent but it could be better and that's what i'm here to do. My word is not law and its your decision whether or not you want to add the cards I recommend. I have not made a Geist deck myself but I do have experience with Voltron from Rafiq and Uril.
Ok, from definition Voltron is a deck archetype with the goal of casting one creature, then using other cards such as Auras and Equipment to enhance that creature and making it a true threat to the opponent. (definition comes from mtgsalvation). The problem is, your deck isn't Voltron enough to justify it being a Voltron EDH. So we need to fix that.
Problems:-Instants: Too many instants. You don't need this many instants, yes a couple of counter spells are needed but in a Voltron you should be winning before they have any serious threats on the board._ Everything should help you win. No shenanigans, straight value. _
Instant Cut List
Cancel---> Cyclonic Rift
Celestial Flare---> Azorius Charm
Deny Existence---> Mystical Tutor
Force Away---> Disenchant
Rakshasa's Disdain---> Oblation
Righteousness---> Treasure Cruise
Thoughtbind---> Hinder
Stoic Rebuttal---> Divine Reckoning
Spell Shrivel---> Render Silent
Long Road Home---> Ponder
-Creatures: Creatures in a Voltron deck really need to help you win fast, otherwise why would you run them?. Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Angelic Arbiter are too slow because, by turn 7/8, you should have already won. Ethercaste Knight and Ojutai Exemplars just don't do enough in EDH. Odric, Lunarch Marshal doesn't help you.
Creature Cut List
Avacyn, Angel of Hope---> Sun Titan
Angelic Arbiter---> Thassa, God of the Sea
Ojutai Exemplars---> Clever Impersonator
Odric, Lunarch Marshal---> Steelshaper's Gift
-Enchantments: Enchantments and artifacts on Geist are how you win the game and your enchantment section is missing some key pieces. Citadel Siege and Monastery Siege do not do enough to justify their places in the deck. Ordeal of Heliod and Ordeal of Thassa were cards made for standard. They aren't powerful enough to be in EDH. There are cards that offer more than Aqueous Form and Stasis Snare.
Enchantments Cut List
Citadel Siege---> Angelic Destiny
Monastery Siege---> Propaganda
Ordeal of Heliod---> Steel of the Godhead
Ordeal of Thassa---> Eldrazi Conscription
Aqueous Form---> Spirit Mantle
-Artifacts: You could do so much more with your kit in terms of Voltron. You're missing key pieces and are running cards that are sub optimal. There are better swords than Hero's Blade. Spear of Heliod is bad. The +1/+1 isn't really relevant and you want to be playing stuff rather than paying 3 to get rid of their stuff. Sword of the Animist just escaped being cut. Really, Worn Powerstone?.
Artifact Cut List
Hero's Blade---> Quietus Spike
Spear of Heliod---> Lightning Greaves
Worn Powerstone---> Thought Vessel
Sorceries: There are so many good sorceries to help you, especially in White and Blue. Talent of the Telepath seems fun but is gimmicky and can end up revealing nothing game changing.
Sorcery Cut List
Talent of the Telepath---> Council's Judgment
Planeswalkers: Voltron needs planeswalkers that help you win the game faster. They change the game by saying "deal with me or you lose". Jace, Unraveler of Secrets is not a good card in this deck. It does nothing to help you win the game faster. Elspeth, Sun's Champion is only slightly better than Jace, Unraveler of Secrets, but she's too slow.
Planeswalker Cut List

He makes a lot of really good points with a lot of his suggestions, helping better to focus the deck and more bringing it into a true combat effective deck. I think his decisions were smartly made, I don't know the French ban list off the top of my head so I'll have to see if any of these are banned, but I think most these would be good changes and help the overall wellbeing and effectiveness of this deck.
August 17, 2016 12:08 a.m.
Maybe think about putting in some defences like Celestial Colonnade ? really nice for the "draw, go" match.

I would swap out Worn Powerstone for Sol Ring or Hedron Archive depending on how much you want to spend. Also, two lands you should be using are Rogue's Passage (to avoid blockers) and Prairie Stream(you use a lot of basic lands). Other than that not bad. Would you mind checking out my Tag You're It (Horobi EDH) deck?
August 17, 2016 11:47 a.m.
I would Strongly suggest removing Mana Leak. In commander I haven't found it to be very effective. Personally I would prefer something like Render Silent just to help kill whatever plans they had for the rest of the turn.
August 18, 2016 12:05 p.m.
Shane.Allen says... #21
I love Render Silent in my commander deck. I also say, only use hard-counters in commander because its too risky that they will have enough mana to play the price. Counters that exile are especially effective too. Void Shatter, Cancel, Dissipate, Counterspell, Disdainful Stroke are all examples of good counters.

Nice Deck, i play Brago but more control, you can try with this cards for example:Draw cards with Mulldrifter or Ephara, God of the Polis
O use this enchantment Act of Authority, Detention Sphere.Thx for your comment :)

TygfddI really like this deck!! As for suggestions maybe switch out Elspeth for Narset Transcendent she works a lot better with Jace, Unraveler of Secrets

Real nice. I especially like dig through time and silver sword for this. I think a grifs boom would let you get flying dmg earlier
