Maybeboard

I was choosing between Heliod, God of the Sun and Odric and after testing a both I am happier with Odric. There is of Abu Ja'far to wipe the creatures once Odric gets rolling. Also, alot of permanent spot removal with Banishing Light, Oblivion Ring, Path to Exile, Swords to Plowshares, and Grasp of Fate. Their is alot of protection/hexproof/shroud with Brave the Elements,Lightning Greaves,Mother of Runes,Flickering Ward,Faith's Shield etc.

The mana curve is set to peak stop at 4 cmc. As I currently play mostly against mono blue control deck, I need to get out fast and take out his creatures and/or hit him with a Armageddon, Winter Orb to slow his curve.

The rest is soldier creatures with some buffs and token procurement like and Blade Splicer, Blinkmoth Nexus, Attended Knight, Mishra's Factory and Launch the Fleet. I have to be able to get to Odric and three other creatures by turn 4 so that I can launch the assaults on his week creatures by turn 5 or make them unblockable whilst my battle cry creatures and damage buffs do their job. The card draw comes from Mentor of the Meek, Skullclamp, Gift of Estates, Mask of Memory, and Land Tax.

Good damage buffs include Mirror Entity, Mikaeus, the Lunarch, Signal Pest, Armored Ascension, and Consul's Lieutenant and Accorder Paladin.

And I can get a decent recursion from Order of Whiteclay because my creatures will usually be able to attack unblockable with Odric's command of the combat.

Since this is primarily a duel EDH deck, if there is any advice on this format, especially against a nasty blue control, then I am all ears.
