Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs is running for office and he wants your vote!

Made this deck to really mess with the status quo at game tables by forcing attacks all the time! Suddenly creatures that don't want to be attacking are attacking and risking their necks on the front line! Step into my ogre swarm, please, Mr. Grand Abolisher and there is a place for you too in line of fire Viscera Seer . You get the idea, things that opponents usually keep safe are now in danger, messing with their whole game plan.

Whether or not they attack me is beside the point. If you swing at me, I get Ogres or tax your mana heavily. If you attack opponents that suits me fine as well. My strategy here is just to wait out the table politicking with some life gain from Sword of War and Peace , Basilisk Collar , Pristine Talisman .

While we're politicking, lets make some friends with campaign donations and give our opponents the tools they need to attack each other. A favorite of mine, Death by Dragons singles out the biggest threat on the table and makes friends. No creatures got somebody down? Here, take some knights, courtesy of Hunted Dragon . Make them an offer they cant refuse with Tempt with Vengeance . Our ogres are large enough to block these problems easily and encourage attacks across the table at anybody but us.

Helping force the issue are important cards like Angel's Trumpet , Goblin Diplomats , Warmonger Hellkite and Disrupt Decorum . Helping discourage some instant speed disruption from opponents are cards like Price of Glory and War's Toll . Basically I do not want people doing things on other people's turns.

Since EVERYBODY will be attacking, even us, it is important to include some team protection. Dolmen Gate means that our whole team will be safe on the attack, even if we get chump blocked nonstop. Sword of War and Peace will help something important slip through defenses and punish opponents for having a bunch of cards in hand. We can change up blocker math a little bit with Goblin War Drums and cross our fingers. We can always recruit Godo, Bandit Warlord to fetch our Darksteel Plate and keep Kazuul safe from bad blocks or unfortunate combats too. Prowler's Helm gets damage through and protects somebody from dangerous chump blocks, sneaky!

This deck is mono-red, and as such comes with those weaknesses that red has, mainly mana ramp and card draw. Trying to shore up this weakness we have staples like Burnished Hart , Magus of the Wheel , Outpost Siege and the usual mana rocks like Thran Dynamo and Commander's Sphere . Pulling double duty we have Grenzo, Havoc Raiser who can either goad attacks or help draw some cards, perhaps grabbing a land out of an opponents deck for our use at an opportune time. Sin Prodder lets us look at cards and has Menace, which makes him slightly safer when forced to attack.

Currently having a blast playing this deck, it messes with everybody's plans very well, forcing fast games and awkward situations. Ogres for the win!
