Just started to mess around with this deck, kinda got the idea from a comment on a review of Ember Swallower and if gave me an idea. I wouldn't say it's much but it's something, and I hope you like what this deck for what it offers.
I'm pretty sure you can understand how this deck can work, but the main card in here is mainly my
Ember Swallower
, but still can work without him. I can either swarm the field quickly with Burning-Tree Emissary and use Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to get
Ember Swallower
to the field on turn 2 and nuke the lands on turn 3. ((And yes this is possible with Elvish mystic and was lucky enough for this to happen... once)), I can also swarm the fields with 2/2 Tokens with haste. Use Xenagos, God of Revels To ramp up my
Ember Swallower
to a 14/15. It can also target the mini 4/4 guys and become 8/8 creatures. Oh, and lets not forget the Mizzium Mortars to kill there 'everything' and force them to let there bigger guys to block (And hope they die thanks to the extra 4 dmg).
The only problem that I can see with this deck is that dreaded Black deck with 4 Thoughtseize ready to take out whatever useful card that could have won me the game, but I guess that's every deck with the same problem. I also got the side deck ready to face any red, white, blue, and Self healing decks. And as for that first statement, I guess this is a devotion deck still in a sense, but it's at least not just one color. (to me I feel as if that one color just limits me to much
