an Izzet Midrange deck based off of the Pro Tour Theros Mono-Blue Aggro/Devotion decks that made it to the Top 8. I LOVE Master of Waves, and I felt he was extremely underestimated. Ilove the synergy he has with Purphoros, God of the Forge and Young Pyromancer. When Master comes in with a Purphoros out, your opponent is taking MINIMUM 4 damage to the face, but with a Cloudfin Raptor and/or a Frostburn Weird out, they'll e taking plenty more. Not to mention, he buffs up the Pyromancer's elemental tokens. It's just a fun deck to play!

I REALIZE this deck is not optimal for competitive play. It's fares pretty well, however, and is very fun to play! Earlier, I played against a mono-black control deck, and managed to get out Purphoros, God of the Forge along with so many tokens, I burned the guy to death with Purphoros ALONE. It's a pretty sweet deck when you know what to do with it, just mess around with it, and feel free to make any changes you wish to it. Just have FUN, guys.
