Oh my god! This deck is gorgeous! How do you win though?

olihot Several different ways. Use Conjured Currency to take over their creatures and then sacrifice Keening Apparition to keep control of it and they can't do anything about it. Get some tokens out with Security Blockade and attack with them and hard. Or if need be put the sideboard in as mainboard instead and let him sit there on a count down timer.

This deck looks fun as hell to play but I'd say annoying as hell to play against. +1 from me bud.

looks like a pain in the backside to play against..+1 from me..i was thinking that you could throw in some Invisible Stalker and throw in a few Ethereal Armor just a thought.

I agree on the invisible stalker and ethereal armor, that would just beat for the win instead of the big drops of the conjured currency and the creature to destroy the enchantment, when you may get some creature with big power, this way you will get in every time and for alot.

ChuckLee I will have to think on those. I would have to get my hands on some of those cards first.

I have currently running this deck: Safety Light (shameless self plug) it is similar to this deck except more creature, less enchant heavy. If you can get your hands on the Geists they are awesome with an ethereal armor and a spectral flight on him.

Regardless I love this deck, +1.

Agree with generalmoepie on the Detention Sphere !

I've tried this deck a few times last night and had trouble the first few turns cause all the enchantments are generally 3 drops and up. How can I defend myself against those fast creatures deck?

Oblivion ring instead of detention sphere!? A Blue/White deck with no Geist of Saint traft? He's a must have creature if you have the colors for him...... and the money lol

UGHHHH and Guildgates are terrible terrible terrible

MklEstevan: I see this as a nice, cheap deck that could manage against decks of a similar caliber. Obviously at this price tag it's not designed for professional play, but something like Geist of Saint Traft would help it. Then again, more and more changes would follow and soon this would be the same as every other top 8 standard deck.

However, I recommend Detention Sphere as well because it is a better alternative to Oblivion Ring, but it does come at a cost (in cold hard cash as opposed to mana). I also suggest removing one copy from three of the least important enchantments and putting in 3x Curse of Exhaustion , but maybe that's just me. Other than that, this is pretty nice for the cost.

I'm sure he is aware that guildgates are terrible, but they are cheap. If you can't afford 4x Hallowed Fountain , I would recommend Glacial Fortress as a lower cost alternative.

I agree with 3kronor about the Glacial Fortress . If you can't afford the shockland try to add the duel land instead. The guild gates come in tapped and put you behind.

First off, I really like the deck. The overly simple way of controlling a field with enchantments is amazing. I agree with eggleo in that the deck needs some kind of defense that it can use for the first three turns. It's just to open and people can attack right off. Feeling of Dread might be helpful in the deck as the gears of this deck start turning, maybe 2 or 3.

As far as mana goes, I can gather you're not wanting to drop the money for the Hallowed Fountain s but they would be necessary for a well balanced deck.

And as a question: what would you do against someone who have Paraselene in their deck? or a flicker-based Acidic Slime ? I was play-testing your deck against Acid Rain!! and it was difficult against the flicker deck to have any creature removal actually stick to the target.

Just some thoughts and a couple suggestions. Still a +1 from me.

Is there any specific interaction or reason for Curse of the Bloody Tome ? seems like a liability since Golgari will welcome the mill and this deck doesn't look like it can win by mill.

The12thDoctor says... #22

I will NOT accept suggestions for creatures as this deck isn't supposed to have any except for the Invisible Stalker I will not accept suggestions for Instants and Sorceries because it is Enchantment only with a few creatures.

@shadowfoxxx If I could get them I would. They are expensive as all can be and I don't even have half of the cards in here because i lack the funds. I have been proxying the cards since the beginning.

@KevinLS The Curse of the Bloody Tome is in there because when I played without it I lost because I decked out before he did and that is to make sure that doesn't happen. As for the Golgari love it gives I might put Rest in Peace in there for that reason.

Any reason not to throw in one or two Bruna, Light of Alabaster ? Seems like that could be great for an alternate win condition.

November 6, 2012 10:28 a.m.

The12thDoctor says... #24

@the_nayr Nah. The Invisible Stalker s equipped with Ethereal Armor gets me a pretty high amount of damage. Besides if I don't win by damage then I will win by mill cause of Curse of the Bloody Tome .

Hi, I see all the comments, and I have two creature suggest to you: Order of the Stars and Beloved Chaplain . I use then in my deck (Protection), and they are really really good for first turns.
