Ojutai was my favorite card throughout all of his standard period. He has been looking at me from the binder ever since, awaiting his summons again.

I mean - whats better than an evasive, protected threat that finishes games and digs for answers? Well - double strike seems like a good place to start. Slab on some protection on him, indestructability ect. and your'e looking at a lot of fun.. for you :)

The core concept/strategy of the deck is:

  • control the early games with wraths, limiting casting spell and if needed, counter spells. Most of the control-cards are there to make sure no one does broken things; storming off, attacking with infinite tokens, elf-balling, massive ETB synergies ect. We are all about fair magic.. in our favor ;)

  • get your ojutai out and start juicing him up with (most importantly) vigilance & doublestrike, while protecting him with totem armors and indestructability.

  • beat your opponents silly while refilling your hand (2 x anticipate if you have double strike) and win with commander damage.

Manabase is just a placeholder at the moment. Feel free to pimp it as you see fit.
