This is a tempo Taigam, Ojutai Master build, that tries to control the field and amass resources until the late game where it can excel at combo-ing off or swinging wide with tokens.

First off, as Taigam, Ojutai Master is the focus of the engine, he needs all the protection he can get, otherwise there will be no doubling the effectiveness of our instants and sorceries :( Keep in mind he also needs to swing through in order to proc his rebounds. So, he needs everything from hexproof to indestructible to unblockable: Shadow Rift, Valorous Stance, Bastion Protector, Maze of Ith, Champion's Helm, Darksteel Plate, Swiftfoot Boots, Whispersilk Cloak, and Steel of the Godhead
In order to get to the mid-late game where Taigam, Ojutai Master reaches critical mass, we need to invoke a lot of control on the board. This comes in the form of preemptive control with counterspells, but also with removal. Taigam, Ojutai Master makes our removal a two-for-one, and with the exiled spell waiting to be recast, it dissuades opponents from recasting their commanders which allows us a bit of breathing room. Other forms of control are present as well, like Fog Bank, Dovescape, and Maze of Ith.
The deck has a few combos to propel us ahead and win. We have an infinite turn loop with Taigam, Ojutai Master rebounding any two of the recursion spells (Relearn, Call to Mind, Not Forgotten, and Deja Vu) and either Time Stretch, Walk the Aeons, or Time Warp. The other obvious combo is Taigam, Ojutai Master and Dovescape as hardly anyone can deal with it, we don't get our instants and sorceries countered, but _still_ get the tokens, and we get more tokens than anyone else because we rebound and can play draw spells to keep going. We have other strategies for closing out games as well. First off, we have the storm strategy with Mind's Desire (a bunch of free stuff never hurts), Aetherflux Reservoir (self-explanatory, but combo-ed with Mind's Desire will quickly get us to victory), and the few token generators to swarm the field with: such as Docent of Perfection   and Monastery Mentor. I often joke that Monastery Mentor is like a hidden partner commander in the deck, as he quickly pops off with all the rebounding cantrips; plus, I treat him like a commander, valuing his protection over Taigam's. Obviously, another win con. centers around casting and rebounding as many extra turns spells as we can get our hands on, and then casting and rebounding Storm Herd to swing for game, ideally all before my extra turns end. The best way to win here is with Time Stretch since it gives us at least 4 extra turns to setup a win.
