It seems very good just maybe need better card draws as you could run out of counter spells and you opponent could sneak through a creature then you'd be in trouble. This deck seems very slow seeing you only have 2 Proteus Staff and Polymorph maybe add 3 of each in replacing Spell Snare as it is a very specific card. If I were you reduce the lands to 21 because that is already 36% of the deck this ables you to add more draw cards or counterspells

Also add more token producers as you only have 4 cards of it which IMO is like 1% of your deck :/

@40cal: I don't think decreasing the number of lands is the way to go. Modern is a fast format already - you don't want to miss that fourth land drop, and not be able to play Polymorph

Too me 22 is cutting it too high your correct Modern is a fast format if you decrease the number of lands you have room for other spell types which can be useful

@ 40cal, games with this deck go to turns 10-20. Then again, games with any Sorok control deck take a LONG time to complete.
Plus, normally control decks would run somewhere around 26-27 lands, you don't want to miss a land drop. I do however think that against the faster decks I don't stand much of a chance, so I'll up the token and the tutor by one each. That'll help ease some of your worries Dallie.

Omg i think she just made us both happy +1 :D Dallie i kinda see your point but only because of this type of deck

Howdy. Tested it against my grisel cannon and unfortunately punted emrakul into the next dimension. I might have piloted yours wrong, but it seemed a bit slow with all the scry. Great idea though, plus 1 from me.

Probably because the only way this deck can beat Glass Cannon Khanye is Path to Exile or Relic of Progenitus . There isn't much I can really do in these colours against a deck that can win on turn 1 to be honest.

In my play test you did use Path to Exile on Griselbrand , but I had Pact of Negation in hand. It was turn 4 though

You might need a couple more things to actually target with Polymorph and Proteus Staff . I would consider either running more Raise the Alarm or Spawning Breath or using a couple of Celestial Colonnade to have more targets.

Also, I feel it would be more efficient to run 4x Polymorph as it does the same thing as Proteus Staff with less of a mana investment.

Hey! You had the same deck idea as mine. Mine is legacy and very budget minded though. I use creature enchantments, a few tokens, and a lot less control. Check it out here: PROGENITUS PLEASE.

May I suggest a loner sideboard Progenitus for those pesky I-Can-Actually-Deal-With-Emrakul decks?

The only thing that I really have to worry about cschiller is force sacrificing and Wraths, and not even Progenitus can get through those cschiller. The most threatening thing would be Karn Liberated and Wurmcoil Engine in tron decks, however I have Sowing Salt in the sideboard as an answer to those decks. Very rarely do you see other forms of deathtouch in modern. There is Vault of the Archangel in Orzhov tokens, but once again Sowing Salt is an answer. Plus I have Detention Sphere and Cryptic Command for tokens in general.
I did the Proteus Staff and Polymorph swap MagicMike69, but I can't really do anything else at the moment. More token generators would mean less control, and I do not want to have multiple token generators in my hand when those spots should be used for control or removal. That is my main dilemma, and will change depending on future play-testing. Now with man-lands, Celestial Colonnade costs way too much to rely on. I would need 9 mana to use it for a tutor with Polymorph , and 8 mana with Proteus Staff . Now the problem with Proteus Staff in this situation, is the relative ease of removing it. If I wanted to use it by casting it at that moment, I would need 11 mana. Way too much. I also don't want to be spending counterspells to protect my Proteus Staff . I would rather be spending them on important things like my opponent's win-con.

I would recommend some lands to help protect your combo:
Kher Keep for constant tokens that's a bit more difficult to deal with, maybe a 1 of.
Boseiju, Who Shelters All to make your polymorph uncounterable

Pyroclasm over hurkyl's recall. I would much rather kill all of affinity rather then stall them one less turn. I play tron and it's much easier to kill them all then to stall again

I really like those suggestions MisterGman, I'll incorporate them both!
You make a good point ColeyPTrain, will make the changes right away.

I swear to god! When i read Show and Tell , i was excited that you were going into legacy. but i should've known. have you thought of Progenitus ? it kind of does bad things to peoples faces. Wait, just read the comments above this. Um, nice deck, Pyroclasm looks weird in a token deck but okay.

That was the original idea Droxium. To take Show and Tell to modern with Braids, Conjurer Adept . Unfortunately, she isn't very good. So this is as close to Show and Tell modern is ever going to get.

You could use a See Beyond to draw a couple of cards and also put back either of your Eldrazis back into the deck in case you have 'em in your hand.

Very cool deck, with an excellent description. +1!
I haven't playtested it, but how well does the deck work at getting your wincon into play? With 4 token generators and 4 ways to cheat an Eldrazi into play, how consistent is it by T4? Does the draw effects negate the "low" number of win-cons?
