This is an older deck I ran around "Rise of the Eldrazi" that performed particularly well. The build was extremely popular due to its ability to roll out massive threats relatively early in the game. Mana accelerators like Noble Hierarch and Birds of Paradise made the deck particularly lethal, and when not dealt with swiftly were able to bring certain doom to the opponent. Personally I preferred a less controlling approach than mythic offered, and quickly switched to my Depths of hell concept for the Star City Open - a wise choice as Mythic would be one of the most easily slaughtered decks to the newly emerged "Valakut Ramp" decks.
