Old Bordered EDH deck! Bringing back the nastolgia! There is only 1 old border Green Black legend. So I made a deck around him. Tap and untap synergies and ways to semi regularly kill off opposing creatures. Anything giving you trouble, turn it into an X/1 and ping it for one damage to get rid of it! Going to be taking a big swing off a 10/10 trample and flying? Turn it into a 1/10 and only take the 1 point of damage. A majority of our mana dudes are NOT 1/1 Fyndhorn Elves, Llanowar Elves, or Elves of Deep Shadow as the symmetrical damage you put out to 'ping' (Thrashing Wumpus, Pestilence, and Noxious Field) after shrinking the target with our commander will also take out our mana dudes also. I don't think I have to explain how rewarding it is to punish our enemies by sinking green into Kamahl, Fist of Krosa's first ability and laying pipe with Noxious Field or Pestilence or even in response to the control players boardwipes. Insert snide chuckles here

Jandor's Saddlebags, Instill Energy, Nature's Chosen,Puppet Strings and to a general degree Seedborn Muse are all tools in which we can untap our commander to shrink multiple threats down to subsequently remove with 'pings'. Alternately, if we are being pressured, we can activate our commander multiple times before we move to blocks, which is further helped by the higher base toughness of our deck. The deck is actually surprisingly decent, given how bad power creep and keywords on creatures are now! Not fool proof in the slightest, but it has that resilience topped off with that old school touch to it :)

I really enjoyed my fruits to build this dude and I may make another old border only, just for kicks! Thanks for stopping by, hopefully I can inspire someone to make an old school deck as well.
