Olivia Voldaren gets the perfect opportunity to reign tears and stones on her opponents, and mop up any stragglers or even accept them into her Vampire fold.

Land destruction isn't typical for EDH but this is Duel EDH so you can hammer away at one opponent. People like to play fancy mana bases and high casting cost cards and we are here to put an end to that.

The creatures are few as we are mainly destroying lands and dealing with opponent's early threats, and we play a lot of wrath effects and spells doing sweeps of smaller creatures. We want our creatures to be big fat evasive hard hitters to finish things off once we gain control, and with some utility in them to pick off creatures the opponent manages to get into play.

Olivia does some nice mop up work e.g. adding to an Anger of the Gods to kill toughness 4 creatures, dealing with one drops etc. But I could be open to another R/B commander if there is one more suited to this deck. I don't want to change from R/B land destruction, so that's the given.

There are a few draw effects, and then doubling effects e.g. Chandra, the Firebrand and Increasing Vengeance since destroying two lands with one spell is where fun is had!

Liliana of the Dark Realms keeps your mana ticking up to cast the mana intensive spells in this deck, and thins your deck to increase chance of drawing more spells, and can pick off the odd problem creature. Liliana of the Veil doesn't fit here as we expect the opponent to have expensive cards they can't cast or excess removal which they can discard to the +1 effect, we only want targetted discard or an element of random discard like Hymn to Tourach

Suggestions on cards to improve the deck would be welcome! And can answer queries on specific card choices as I am sure some of them look strange.
