another interesting enchantment is Wound Reflection mix that with any damage / life loss can take a player out of the game when they thought they were safe. I have never seen a commander deck be able to win so fast, also +1

Thank you for suggestion! And for upvote. I allredy use Mystical Tutor. Idyllic Tutor is not bad, I need to think about it. The cmc of this card is too big, but its pretty usefull.

I hate to state the obvious but... no Necropotence? I've never seen a competitive Esper combo-based list that didn't run it as one of its main cards / win conditions before.

Necropotence has incredible power. I absolutely agree with that. I was thinking about placing it in the deck in the beginning. And I definitely would have included it in the deck, if not a little disclaimer: "Whenever you discard a card, exile that card from your graveyard.". Cephalid Coliseum, Alhammarret's Archive, Memory Jar, Ad Nauseam, Enter the Infinite, Attunement, Liliana Vess, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur these are cards that have the hidden ability - they help to discard cards to the graveyard, and then i can reanimate them with many spells. Day's Undoing will lose many targets too. But I still have not decided firmly, is this card is a hindrance or not. So it goes to the Maybeboard. Thank you for reminding about it!

Both Bribery and Tidespout Tyrant seem really underwhelming. Also, you should consider High Market as it provides a sac outlet for Academy Rector.

You may also want to run more than just Exsanguinate as a win condition.

At least get Phyrexian Arena.

Thank tou for your advice enpc! High Market is great. This card must be used in this deck.

Bribery - the choice of this card was due to the fact that in my meta people plays a lot of fat and scary creatures (Eldrazy). I often feel in tests that it is not so usefull as it seems.

Tidespout Tyrant - one of the first cards to be replaced. It works very good when I cast a lot of spells when he is on the battlefield. I understand that it is pretty situational, and doesnt help much to implement main strategy.

I thought about extending the number of win conditions. Blightsteel Colossus seems pretty good, I used him a lot in my other decks. But reanimation strategy doesnt work with him.

Also Decree of Silence and Hex Parasite seems not so good for mee as thought from the start, thinking about what to put in replacement.

Yeah, Decree of Silence + Hex Parasite just seems really win more.

I don't really like Blightsteel Colossus as a backup win con. It's too expensive to play without Omniscience and outside of combo doesn't add much to the deck. On top of that, if you Enter the Infinite to fetch it, you will lose before killing everyone as you won't have enough combat phases before you draw out. This is one of the big issues with Enter the Infinite + Omniscience - It actuallycan interfere with other win conditions.

A stock standard you can run is Palinchron + Deadeye Navigator into infintie mana + Rune-Scarred Demon for unlimited tutor. Then you can run cards like Blue Sun's Zenith to draw your opponents out. I personally like using Forbidden Orchard + Massacre Wurm as one of my win conditions (I run this in my Damia, Sage of Stone deck: Damia Morgendorffer).

There is also the typical Laboratory Maniac + Brainstorm post Enter the Infinite combo to just win.

The other thing is your land count is too low. Far too low. 36 is the absolute minimum I would recommend for a 3 coloured deck. I don't like Dread Return in the build. With only 10 creatures, the flashback is close to irrelevant. You'd be better off running Unburial Rites or just running Volrath's Stronghold. Also, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur isn't that good. You will already be pulling enough hate and you don't have enough counterspells to both protect him and stop your opponents.

Well, this is really a lot of useful information. Thanks!

When i play Enter the Infinite + Omniscience i can proceed the game further,
because I can use Day's Undoing, and if Leyline of Anticipation is on the battlefield i can cast it even on instant speed.

Deadeye Navigator + Palinchron is a very good combination, i saw it in many decks, i will consider it. Indeed, Deadeye Navigator is insane card, it goes with so many other good cards.

Brainstorm + Laboratory Maniac is a good combination for Enter the Infinite. Especialy that it needs only one card slot in my deck. I used this guy in my early version of Arcum deck - Arcums shenanigans, it worked fine with any infinite draw combination. Maybe i will use him in this deck, thanks for reminding!

As for lands... well, I've never had a problem with the lack of mana in this deck, i use pretty good set of mana rocks, wich helps me to speed up and stabilize. Need more test to establish the likelihood.

I used Unburial Rites in this deck, but its cost is high. And i wasn't able to cast it as fast as dread. Another way how i can cast Dread Return from the grave is Snapcaster Mage and Bitterblossom.

Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur - he has so many reasons to stay in the deck, I just can't refuse to see the look of my opponents, when i play Entomb + Reanimate on this guy in the beginning of the game ;).

I see a lot of people say the same thing about their mana base being fast or them not having a problem land wise. As somebody who runs 37 lands and 20 dedicated ramp effects, I can say with confidence that you will get a speed increase to your deck adding more land / ramp. I would recommend testing it out.

Worst case scenario, you try it and dont like it / don't notice a difference. If that's the case then you've now not only culled less useful cards from your deck but now have 3-4 spaces to put new cards in.

As for Jin Gitaxias, while being able to do that early game is a good play, does it actually happen enough to warrant running it in the deck? Late game his usefulness dwindles as he becomes harder to play and stick and as I mentioend before you only have 7 or so counterspells to actually protect him, which isn't enough to both keep him alive while still slowing down your opponents.

Your call though, if you think he's worth running then go for it. I can admit that I have certain opininons about some of the praetors though :P

I'm surprised that you're not running Dream Halls in the deck as another way to cheat Omniscience into play. It could also act as a bad Omniscience by itself if you have the Enter the Infinite in hand but still can't find Omni or if Omni gets exiled/destroyed.

enpc What ramp effects would you recommend in Esper colors?

I considered Dream Halls earlier, but i didn't like it's drawbacks.
Still, it is very interesting card. Thank you for your suggestion, and reminding. I'll try to test it in deck once more.

For ramp Burnished Hart, Orzhov Signet, Azorius Signet, Dimir Signet, Thran Dynamo and Gilded Lotus are good. However Crucible of Worlds is a must. With a fetchland, you never miss your land drops and you can also happily run Mox Diamond as well.

As for Dream Halls, it seems like it could backfire something chronic.

Matrixxx999 says... #19

I used all artifacts that you mentioned, in my artifice decks. Crucible of Worlds is a very good card, I always find a place for this card in my decks, but now I doubt about any card even about so good one. 99 cards is not enough for considering all the cards that i want, it is always not enough :(

I don't understand how Flash puts Omniscience out on the battlefield. Flash states creature card.

Nevermind, I misread that. Plus Academy Rector.

Great deck +1 from me, but I just feel like if your whole deck needs that Omniscience you should put some more fetch in there to try and get it out, and when you do get it, you should have some options for playing it other than Flashing Academy Rector

Matrixxx999 says... #23

Hi, Ocarina500! Many thanks for +1!

I understand what your saying, in the beginning I used a lot of tutors. And it worked pretty good. But then there were many situations in which I had an excessive amount of tutors in hand, and they were useless in a particular situation. Almost like dead draw.

Omniscience is one of the win cons. The deck doesn't always need it to implement its strategy.

Options for playing Omniscience are described in Description section. But anyway, you're right, I'm always looking for more options to put this sweet enchantment on the battlefield without paying its manacost.
