Save an exile for Erebos, God of the Dead in case an opponent pulls one out.

Counterspell any mass Enchantment removal like Nevinyrral's Disk or anything that targets Necropotence before you have a good win-con.

For fun use Delaying Shield + Umbilicus

Use Umbilicus for Necropotence or for Gray Merchant of Asphodel
