Argothian Elder and Maze of Ith Goes infinite during your declare attackers step. Both cards are good on their own too.

@Lyscian, Great combo... sadly, though, My shop, in its infinite wisdom has 'banned' infinite combos... the house rule says that if you repeat the same combo more than 3 times in a turn, you automatically loose...
@zandl, I really have never had as issue getting mana available to me, and adding colorless mana is very ineffective for me
Thanks for the comments though

It's really for finding mana if you're screwed; it's for drawing an extra card when the top card is a Snow Land.
In a lot of ways, it's like Courser of Kruphix .

As much as I love the inclusion of Eldrazi in EDH, I'm not sure that It That Betrays is worth it's slot compared to other possible big beaters. From looking at the list it seems as though the only sac effects you have are the annihilator triggers. I think that if you don't have ways to make use of its ability without attacking it isn't that great because you have to play it and then wait a full turn, giving each opponent a chance to deal with it before you get some value off of it.

Wild Pair could be good here, especially if you make a few adjustments to the creatures to make there power and toughness more overlapping, but as it is right now, you can play Avenger of Zendikar then get to put Craterhoof Behemoth on the battlefield... or Eternal Witness and get Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary , but if you added cards you could do things like Courser of Kruphix to Seedborn Muse , Dosan the Falling Leaf to Oracle of Mul Daya or Hornet Queen , Nylea, God of the Hunt to Vigor , Primordial Hydra to Kalonian Hydra , Sylvan Caryatid to Forgotten Ancient , Patron of the Orochi to Elderscale Wurm , or even Llanowar Elves to Elvish Mystic or even Omnath, Locus of Mana if he gets tucked by a Terminus or something... Anyway great deck +1 from me

also, since you are playing Abundance you should get a Sylvan Library , well you should get a Sylvan Library anyway cuz they're amazing, but the combo of Abundance + Sylvan Library gives you 3 cards each turn without having to pay life...

awesome deck! was thinking about puting an omnath edh together myself. have you considered Gaea's Cradle ?. I know its not a budget card but it would be the shit with avenger of zedikar on the field among other things

@garrettlstewart, I don't think that library/abundance combo works that way, but I will look into it. As far as wild pair, It may be useful, though I'd need to take a long look at what I might remove/ What I'd want to add in replacement
@kevin, I had a Gaea's Cradle in here for a while, though it didn't really do me any good since I normally only have a ton of creatures the turn I swing for the win. so the cradle was normally only tapping for 4-5 mana at a time, while I had all my forests regularly tapping to 8-10 a piece.

Yeah it definitely does, I've had to look it up a few times myself, because it's hard to logically make sense of it from reading the two ceards... There's a few explanations online but even those are a bit hard to follow... We've even had the judge at my card shop explain it to us, it has to do with you never actually 'drawing' a card and it the meaning of the word 'draw' in magic if memory serves correctly...

Library and Abundance do work that way, because Abundance is a replacement effect. Basically what happens is Sylvan Library offers you extra draws and you elect to use the replacement effect of Abundance . Then Abundance 's effect resolves and Sylvan Library never saw you draw the cards so you never have to pay the life.

Maybe consider adding in Aluren and Vedalken Orrery for being able to cast Omnath at instant speed. Means you will never lose the mana he is holding.

If Omnath doesnt swing why not use Azusa as the commander?
October 11, 2014 1:58 a.m.
Also Azusa, Lost but Seeking , Vernal Bloom , and Heartbeat of Spring could go in there (likely taking out Gauntlet of Power and Extraplanar Lens )
October 11, 2014 2:01 a.m.
I was thinking of removing Gaea's Touch , though not sure what for... thinking something to give my creatures flash...
I had Vernal Bloom and Heartbeat of Spring in here at one time, but I didn't like how much extra it gave everyone else (gauntlet and extra planar only effect basic/snow covered forests in this deck)
Azusa is all good and well, but I don't frequently have the need to play that many lands in a turn. And as for why have omnath as a general, its cuz I can play huge Genesis Wave s on like turn 4 or 5.

I was looking at Skyshroud Claim to replace something... Any suggestions for what to pull?
