Interested in getting a new player into the EDH/Commander format, but want to hand them something better than a pre-con? Just have them play landfall!

We play 40 lands and LOTSA RAMP!!! With an elemental subtheme and a Zendikar feel, this deck pretty much is a perfect entry point to the format.

Since Omnath, Locus of Rage is triggered based off the landfall mechanic, it's a very blunt strategy. Plus, if you have a bunch of elemental creatures on the board, you get to punish people for board wiping you! Teaching politics early!

Omnath, Locus of Rage not your style or feel like a change of pace in your group? Choose between Phylath, World Sculptor or Mina and Denn, Wildborn as alternate commanders!

This is my extra deck that I bring everywhere and am in the process of foiling it out. When I was learning the format, being handed a near foiled-out edh deck was fantastic. If that's not your thing, this deck is rather affordable to build.
