ShaDoWz_6677 probably not. I only have 2 cards that put counters on my creatures and infect isnt prevalent enough in my meta to warrant running him. It will, however, find a home in my animar deck for sure.

Kamerot thank you for replying in a timely fashion bud! I looked at your deck and I was just curious because of the fact that he's a body that jsut smashes with Haste and Trample.

My commander makes any body big with Trample. So I look more at the utility value of my creatures than how big they are.

Damn, then give me like a day... and I'll poke some ideas at you for what your deck does. (: I took a small look at the deck, i'll have a more in depth look

You know youre an asthmatic neckbeard with too much time on your hands when you foil it out on tappedout xD!!

Not asthmatic or a neckbeard, but definitely have too much time on my hands. Its foiled out on here, because I have it foiled out on cardstock.

Question: How do you support 34 lands with such a battlecruiser deck? Even in my low-ish cmc Queen Marchesa deck I'm running 35 lands. Whenever I playtest the deck on Tapped Out, I am consistently mana screwed.

I have 7 mana dorks, and 12 other ways to ramp/accelerate my mana. 13 if you want to include kodama since he gives me extra land drops. In rare cases, I get mana screwed, but it doesn't happen often enough to warrant a change.

Ohh this is a mean brew. Might I suggest adding Elvish Reclaimer to search up that Gaia's Cradle or any other juicy land and also maybe an Omnath, Locus of Mana or Scute Swarm

I like elvish reclaimer, I may have to find a spot for it. Omnath isn't in the deck for personal reasons, and probably never will be. And scute swarm is going in my kamahl/jeska partner deck, so I probably won't add it here. I like my decks playing differently and do my best to avoid the same mainstays in multiple decks if possible. Thanks for the input, glad you like the deck.

I get that. Recently all of my deck ideas involve green as the staple and not using a lot of the same cards has proven difficult. Good luck to ya!

Kamerot says... #12

I hear that. I'm very much a timmy player, with green being my forte. And it's hard not automatically using the same staples. Lol

Best of luck to you as well.

Is there a more budget friendly version of this deck out there?

February 11, 2021 11:40 a.m.

Kamerot says... #14

Yeah, I have a $100 budget build. The link is in the description but here is a direct link for you to make it easy.

If you're able.to bump your budget up to like $150, you can easily add in cards like Seedborn Muse and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx without going overboard and giving it a good power upgrade. I'm going to be doing some upgrades to this over the next week of so since several sets have dropped since I finished this list. So keep your eye on it.

I named this deck many years ago before I knew omnath's nickname. The deck is established with this name so I don't want to change it.

Also, the official name in my playgroup could be deemed "offensive" and I don't want someone reporting my deck and having it get deleted. Lol

Bro your primer is amazing! Makes me happy that I may have contributed so some of these changes. I should put in the effort for Chainer like this. This deck is a monster. Spend half the game eyeing for you to pop off. haha

kingmic0 if you weren't there to keep me in check, games would be a lot shorter, that's for sure. Lol

Nice bling, you're stepping up your game. I like it.

Thank you. It's been a helluva journey for this deck.

for removal in green, I've had pretty good luck with Predator, Flagship and Arena . kinda wierd, but they work very well

March 18, 2021 8:33 p.m.

Kamerot says... #24

I've considered Arena before and might take a look at it again. Predator, Flagship is a little mana intensive. I know I run karn, but he exiles and I can usually get 2 activations most of the time. I've added in cards like Song of the Dryads and Kenrith's Transformation as psuedo removal to take care of pesky creatures. It forces my opponents to use their removal on those instead of my important creatures/enchantments.

March 18, 2021 8:48 p.m.

The trick with arena is to activate it after attackers, but before blockers are declared: provided you have something beefy enough, regens, or is otherwise less likely to be inhumed, this will effectively lock down an additional creature on the opponent's side, in addition to the removal effect.

Predator Flagship I bring up simply because while A) slow and B) expensive, it also offers flying, and can be activated at instant speed.
