blpace it's a neat trick, but unneeded. Song of the Dryads is purely a removal piece to get around indestructible or easily recurrable commanders/combo pieces. I dont have a need or want to copy whatever its enchanting. And as Inkmoth stated, I can't copy my own legendary lands due to the legendary rule.

It's a fun thought, but too niche for what I want in the deck.

Hello Kamerot. Thoughts on the spoiled Wrenn and Seven?

I'm a big fan of the card. It won't fit in this deck unfortunately, but it's a fantastic card.

Have you thought about Timeless Witness as an additional recursion piece or as a replacement for Eternal Witness?

I wonder, if Castle Garenbrig really synergises with Mana Reflection and/or Nyxbloom Ancient as you don't tap for mana but activate an ability (which generates mana).

Timeless Witness is too expensive mana wise. I have ways of recurring of Ewit, and my other creatures so the eternalize ability is unneeded.

And yes, Castle Garenbrig does synergize with them. Part of the cost of its ability is tapping itself to produce the mana and that's all that mana reflection and nyxbloom care about.

I feel given your deck goes wide, how impactful is Saryth, the Viper's Fang really? It stops some spot removal, helps some offense go through. I feel Asceticism suffers from a similar drawback. Is the redundancy really needed? Would you not be better served with cards such as Shamanic Revelation or the commander card (I forgot it's name) where its similar to regrowth but targets permanents and for an extra cost you can put your commander from commandzone to hand (or something like that?) I can find the name later if you're interested, currently at work.

My playgroup runs a ton of spot removal and has learned to target my small creatures to slow me to a crawl. In the playtesting I've done, saryth has proven to help a ton in that aspect. Especially since I can tutor for it.

Kamerot: Thank you for the honorable mention!!

Also, love the changes! I think the Saryth include is absolutely nuts and completely warranted. Can be a mana dork, a protection piece, and an evasion piece that can be tutored. All of this at 4 mana, I am sold.

That green deck... so epic dude. They said druid isn't the stronger class. They're wrong!

Reynan glad you like it.

Overwhelming Stampede seems like a no brainer here..

that_dude33 I ran it for years. Love the card, but with Craterhoof Behemoth and Finale of Devastation as backups, it's not needed.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

"Simple" Puts Foil on everything :D darn you noble creature!

Shanksu all I meant by simple is that it's a very straightforward mono green stompy list. I tried to make it user friendly and adaptable for anyone's meta.

Heya! Would you have considered omnath, locus of mana as a mana storage to power your spells? Interesting deck!

January 2, 2022 9:54 p.m.

Kamerot says... #18

I have kept omnath out as a personal choice. when I first made this deck, omnath was considered THE mono green commander, so I wanted to prove you could win without him and I'm still in that mindset somewhat.

More importantly though, my playgroup has a lot of spot removal and would hold up just to kill him after pouring any decent amount of mana to save for later, so I've just stayed clear.

I'm curious why not have Dosan the Falling Leaf in the deck? It's Conqueror's Flail on a stick and as a creature is tutorable

February 10, 2022 12:07 a.m.

Kamerot says... #21

Unfortunately dosan makes where no one can react to people comboing off and can potentially cost us the game. I've been running it in my Tahngarth deck and I'm going to cut it because it's actually cost me games.

Kamerot

I think flail > Dosan, but that being said, Dosan could work in decks with built in sac outlets to make it less symmetrical. Flail is also an artifact so its slightly less likely to get destroyed when compared to Dosan

Profet93 I agree with you 100%.

How do you name the deck Om Nom and NOT have Omnath in it??? And if you did at one point and removed him (which is insane) why not change the name of the deck?

February 10, 2022 3:35 p.m.

Kamerot says... #25

I made the deck more than 8 years ago before I knew omnath's nickname. And the deck is established under this name now, so I just leave it. Tried changing it once and didn't go so well. /shrug
