I don't know why not to include the color staple removals like Path to Exile Swords to Plowshares if you want to hit singles... or classic Wrath of God for a boardwipe

How do you survive on so few lands? It feels like for Azusa and Exploration type effects you'd run out of lands quickly

darklord1135, short answer is 35 is enough and if you want to take advantage of Exploration and cards like it, you lean towards having Crucible of Worlds / Ramunap Excavator / Ancient Greenwarden to continually use fetch lands to play additional lands.

darklord1135 tbh it is not about having infinite lands on hand but just about being able to gain sufficient advantage to utilize on winning.

I've been thinking about building this deck as I have Omnath in foil and a lot of the pieces. What's the play experience like? Do you always win with combos, or are you able to overwhelm them with tokens from your landfall triggers. Also, I've noticed you're playing copy effects. Is this to copy Omnath and get more triggers or is there another angle?

I do not have the exactly same deck but like a 90-95% version of it. From my playexperience the deck lacks the interactability of a cEDH deck but has the potential of massively explosive turns. Sometimes you win with a combo in a single turn. But most of the times you assemble an overwhelming boardstate and win by value generation.

Guerric, It pilots just like unwucht mentioned. Could be built with cEDH in mind, though I have no intentions to do so. Also, to answer the copy effects question. Yes, it’s mostly to copy Omnath and abuse the abilities, but I have cloned other creatures like Craterhoof Behemoth for fun.

Starsky2814 and unwucht Thanks! That's helpful. I have no interest in cEDH, so that's good information. I use the Ghostly Flicker + Dualcaster Mage combo in my Inalla, Archmage Ritualist deck, but this wouldn't otherwise run even remotely like that, so its definitely appealing. I don't have too many decks that just get out of control with board states like this one does, so I'll probably put it together eventually, and will keep an eye on this page!

tbh when playing the deck, I occasionally try to not use a wincon I just used recently but to assemble a different more challenging wincon for fun. i know, sounds like a first world problem, but I just love how much different approaches to wins this deck offers.

How do you feel about the new Urza land? Might be great to fetch Amulet and still counts as an etb.

Avik4, I’ve been considering it just for that. Just really wish I had something else to grab if needed. To justify making the room for it and all.

Hoping not to sound to dense here, by why Yavimaya? I don't see any effects that turn your forests into creatures so just wasn't sure of the purpose.

Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth is not necessary, but mainly in there for Knight of the Reliquary and a way to tap a fetch land for mana in case it’s needed. Prismatic Vista more specifically since I run three basic lands. I’m also considering Arbor Elf to go with it for Gaea's Cradle shenanigans.

OH! I didn't realize that Yavimaya made your fetches able to be tapped for a forest. Nevermind! Total value, thanks!

I noticed the Storm Cauldron in the deck list and am currently building my own Omath deck built around that card specifically, what are your thoughts on it and what have your experiences been with it?

MLS91, I think Storm Cauldron is a fun card to build around. It’s great for hitting those landfall triggers and bouncing lands like Gaea's Cradle . With that said, it’s important that you have quite a bit of pieces that allow you to put additional lands into play, so you’re not setting yourself back with it. I’m considering on adding Confounding Conundrum to pair with it to really set opponents back.

unwucht, yeah, after a game night awhile back with my pod, I realized I needed to break their parity while I’m accelerating, so that they couldn’t stop me from going off. It’s the same tactic I used in my retired Omnath, Locus of the Roil deck. So I made adjustments that were similar to that strategy. It’s been very entertaining so far.

@Starsky2814 im about the Mana Web over the War's Toll . I tend to build archenemy decks so forcing people into combat isn't my thing. im more along the Land's Edge , Seismic Assault , and Molten Vortex Route
