Also, see a pic of my prototype deck here. I will shortly update my decks with the final version once the missing cards arrive.

We only were able to do two games tonight. I won the first one. The second game was an extremely close one: I had received 8 infect markers from the infect deck and then the proliferate deck proliferated my infect counters and took me out. Had the guy piloting it not done so, I would have had a Moraug, Fury of Akoum out and due to Nahiri's Lithoforming I would have had 8-10 landfall triggers to get additonal combat phases and a boardstate to make lethal use of them. I had such a blast, playing this deck!

Awesome! I agree, this deck is so very playable. Everything about it screams.. casually strong! Geared toword that sweet 75% meta, not cEDH but can explode.. even on turn 3. Song of creation I doubted until i saw it, that miracle of a card is undeniably spectacular! All these card choices blend in a fantastic harmony of creation and chaos! I have a version that runs a reasonable few different cards, like: Instead of worldly tutor I have Dryad Arbor and Green Sun Zenith. I'll make a deck list to share soon!

I’m glad you had a blast with the couple games you played! From the sound of it, you were very threatening if the two players had to use combined efforts to take you out with infect.
Arzais, it’s awesome that folks can get behind this build and gear it towards their meta and have spectacular results with it.

well, to be fair the decks at the table were at-level. We had a landfall Windgrace, a Zacama, Omnath and very finely tuned Ghave Guru of spores threating everyone with Dictate of Erebos and sacrifice shenanigans.

By the way, the work-in-progress version of my deck can be found here Omnath, Locust of Landfall

One general remark, though: This deck does not have a lot of answers to anything your opponents do. Hardly any spot removal, no enchantment removal (unless you integrate Aura Shards. You completely focus on being the menace yourself. The deck has amazing abilities to put threats on the board and has an extreme capability or regaining board presence after a wipe. But all this comes at the cost of not being able to interact with your opponents' boards significantly.

unwucht, what do you have in mind? I figured at some point this would would come up again, but do we need a small counter package, such as: Fierce Guardianship, Force of Will, Force of Negation, Pact of Negation, Flusterstorm. Removal piece like Aura Shards can be added in again.

What worked well for me in Hateful Gruul-Aid Man, Who Rocks and Roils, was cards such as: Overburden, Mana Breach, Storm Cauldron. Slowed my opponents down drastically while I maintain advantage.

I can attest that Fierce Guardianship has worked absolute wonders every game I used it and I have never had to pay mana. I also run a Swan Song in my list as well!

Main main issue is the following: There is hardly a way to remove a single target. Be it a creature or an enchantment/artifact. Aura Shards is excellent. This is the reason why I integrated it into my deck. The only other option I have to remove a creature is Omnath, Locus of Rage by direct damage. My first instinct would be to integrate Swords to Plowshares and at least an additional card. But I do not have any suggestions what to cut. I really cannot point my finger on anything I would be willing to exclude.

I am actually amazed to see Aura Shards out of this list now! The card has been devastating to my opponents. I understand there may be different Metas at play here but universally speaking: Turn 3 Aura Shards then turn 4 Omnath, Locus of Creation (or other creature) to destroy a Sol Ring (or whatever else is a threat) is bananas!

unwucht, My personal recommendation for your list is to remove the Sphinx's Revelation!

My thoughts are on including Winds of Abandon, Aura Shards, Fierce Guardianship.

Starsky2814, i think those are excellent choices! I didn't even know about Winds of Abandon, I got to pick one up just due to its general playability. Heliod's Intervention and Curse of the Swine came to mind after reading your post.

Adjustments are as follows:
Thoughts on this before we lock this in?

However tempting it is to remove Cloudshift I have encountered multiple situations where it has been critical to my board states survival! That's my two cents on the card though. I even once myself thought about taking it out, but when it saved me time and time again I reconsidered! :P

Arzais, I’m not a fan of cutting Cloudshift either. I’ll look into something else.

Definitely struggling to find a cut for Fierce Guardianship.

Expansion / Explosion or Armageddon are cards I would consider optional enough to cut!

As much as it pains me, I might have to go with Armageddon. Sucks, especially since I wanted MLD to be a sub theme in the deck. But, I just can’t really afford to cut another draw card and fall into the “lack of” problem again. Plus, Expansion / Explosion at least can serve as a copy counter card if need be.

Thank you GenoSans for being our 100th upvote! Thanks to all who got us to that number so far! Let’s keep up the good work!

Ok, gentlemen. I just finished my first game night with a still-work-in-progress-version of this deck. Basically Emiel the Blessed, Teferi's Protection and Titania, Protector of Argoth are missing. On top, I replaced all the original duals with snowlands.
I had a blast, playing this prototype! It is everything I had been hoping for while brewing with you. Thank you so much to everybody who brewed with us!
