He consumes all and with him, the Maelstrom follows. Omnath, Locus of All became the perfect commander for this 5-color deck primarily for his secondary ability giving us ramp in a unique way. It's also possible to get him out on turn 4 with some life exchange too which is always nice. So, to help with Omnath's second ability, almost all of the cards in the deck have 3 mana symbols or more. This means getting 5-colors put together and casting things should be super easy. Imagine revealing Two-Headed Hellkite at the start of your turn, and suddenly its half the cost because of Omnath. Or you reveal a card like Kethis, the Hidden Hand or Merieke Ri Berit and suddenly you can cast those creatures for free thanks to the big guy. That only scratches the surface of what you can cast. Timeless Lotus, Bloom Tender, and Jegantha, the Wellspring are all great cards to give you a one tap 5 mana vamp for any of our Rainbow cards like The Ur-Dragon, Progenitus, or even the three Bringers Bringer of the Black Dawn, Bringer of the Blue Dawn, and Bringer of the Red Dawn. Is it intimidating to try and run 5 colors? Sure. But it won't be a problem. Prismatic Omen, Chromatic Lantern, and Joiner Adept will make sure that you have all colors at your disposal regardless of your land state. Door to Nothingness is always a good fallback if things go south. But basically, your way of winning is just through sheer might swinging with the big creatures when you can.
