Anyone have further suggestions to make this deck any more firghtening? XDSo, having always been an Omnath fan since Zendikar, I was beyond excited to see the new Omnath, Locus of Rage. As a an EDH player that holds reputation for building pretty strong, as well as intersting EDH decks, I decided to have a go with the angry Omnomnomnath.

The deck is not explicitly Elemental tribal but it sticks very closely to it - (we have to have a few things in there with landfall for those added bonus tokens).

Essentially, you want ramp into Omnath as soon as possible - though not always necessary in some cases. Many other EDH players whined or were fearful of Omnath's new CMC of 7. I reminded them only once of what colors we're in: red and GREEN.

There are many combos in the deck that synergize unbelievably well. For exmaple:

With Omnath on board or off: Oracle of Mul Daya + Windswept Heath + Wooded Foothills Let's you get those extra land drops and with Omnath on board all of those extra honking Elemental tokens.

To make matters worse the wrath becomes even more terrifying when you have cards such as Doubling Season + Parallel Lives on board.

Again, the board state begins to get crazy with the massive sac outlets that you can use for cards like Phyrexian Altar or Ashnod's Altar or Greater Good. To further achieve mass mana production, we can use cards like Gaea's Cradle prior to sacking creatures to get that extra green mana then casting Tempt with Vengeance to get tons of Elementals.

At this point you can call it game or keep going. With the sac outlets on board and Omnath's ability you've prevented forest fires by murdering everyone else at the table.

In short, our deck does a lot of things far faster than I had anticipated. I thought that my previous Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Omnath, Locus of Mana decks ramped fast but they seem to hold on candle to new Omnath, Locus of Rage.

There are various other synergies within the deck that I'm sure you can figure out with cards like Crucible of Worlds + Life from the Loam and so on.
