Not Gruul? Then Die!

Our main wincon is to burn the table like a red mage and we accomplish this by using extreme land ramp like a wooded elf. Don't forget we're Gruul, so turn those big boys sideways!

Couple things I want to point for anyone building Omnath:

  1. Don't run less than 40 lands. Anything less and you risk not hitting your land drops on curve. I personally run 38 lands and 4 dual face lands for a total of 42 and there are plenty of times I wish had more lands.

  2. Make sure to run a lot of basics since most green ramp fetches for basics.

  3. 42 lands sounds like a lot, but we still need to ramp more. A LOT MORE. We don't really defend our commander with hexproof, indestructible, or shroud spells. We defend our commander by being able to recast him over and over and over. There is no better feeling than watching your friends get demoralized after you cast Omnath for 15 mana like it's nothing.

Things I really want to fit into the deck but can't figure out what to cut:

Tibalt's Trickery - Because we want to be able to counter a game wining spell or a Cyclonic Rift - Rift really hurts us.

If anyone has any suggestions or tips they want to add, I would greatly appreciate it.
