Mandalorian thanks for the advice. I have mana reflection in the list, im not sure why it isn't here on tapped out. Doubling Cube seems disgusting i will definitely be picking it up.

Dictate of Karametra is a card i have been debating over for a while. it seems very good, however i don't really want to be helping out everyone else that much, even though it helps me more, its not really a game ending card. do you have any expereince with playing it in commander? i have a copy already so i could easily test it out later this month.

Caged Sun seems like a worse version of Gauntlet of Power i look into running it.

Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Oracle of Mul Daya are definitely on my to buy list. Kodama's Reach seems alright but i already have Cultivate and Nissa's Pilgrimage that do the same thing and i have been debating it for a bit but not sure if i want to grab a third card that does the same thing.

Doubling Cube is quite disgusting. Especially if you have something like Seedborn Muse out.

I can understand not wanting to risk a card like that. I play Rites of Flourishing in one of my EDH decks and while my deck benefits the most I understand some not wanting to play hug cards.

Yes and no. Caged Sun is only more mana, affects all of your lands that tap for green and not just basics, and only affects you where as with Gauntlet of Power you run the risk of another player playing green and taking advantage of it since it is a global affect. To mitigate this you could run Snow-Covered Forest and Extraplanar Lens to ensure no one else can take advantage of your cards.

i was thinking about running Rites of Flourishing combo'd with Mind's Eye. Luckily my LGS is light on green aside from one elves player, but i have a pretty good record against him with this list. as Omnath with trample isn't something he can deal with. I will keep and eye out for Caged Sun as i do like the idea.

Dude I have a build of Omnath that's a lot different than this but I REALLY like this idea and build, definitely going to give it a shot, +1 from me bro!

Only suggestion I would make right now is taking out Tireless Tracker - Fierce Empath + another way to tutor for the Spawnsire of Ulamog.

I also run an Omnath deck and love it. Mine's a bit more evil with some extra Eldrazi in it and more permanent based, but there's some cards I want to throw out there for your consideration.More methods of doubling mana produced:Sword of Feast and Famine, Bear Umbra, Caged Sun, Extraplanar Lens (need snow-covered forests for this one).

Other Value cards:Tooth and Nail with Defense of the Heart, Yeva, Nature's Herald I see that you run Vedalken Orrery (I do as well) and this one just adds more consistency with Green acting like Blue. Soul of New Phyrexia <-- this one has been awesome for me so far. You usually have plenty of mana floating for it as well.

Draigus is your list on here? i had a quick look at your profile but couldn't find it. I am running Caged Sun and i use Vedalken Orrery instead of Yeva, Nature's Herald i tried both for a hile just liked Vedalken more, and cuts means something has to go. I will have to look into Sword of Feast and Famine and Bear Umbra. Extraplanar Lens is one i have been trying to get my hands on for a bit.

I actually just took out Soul of New Phyrexia the card was great, its just the list is quite tuned and sooner or later something has to go. Tooth and Nail is something i have been thinking about, it will likely eventually find its place here, its just a stupidly powerful card. Defense of the Heart is a new one i haven't seen but might also need to look inot

This looks like a really fun list. I have never played Omnath before, just against it. If you are still looking for something to take out, I suggest Terestrodon. It's a major Bribery and reanimation target. I realize there isn't much removal in the list, but I am aginst playing cards like this, or in my case It That Betrays, because I have used them against their owners to great effect before.

If you need another land, I'd suggest removing Sol Ring. It doesn't pump Omnath and loses value past turn 1...

What about Zendikar Resurgent?

Delta-117 its in the deck...

Yeah I missed it I see it now, sorry about that.

Anyways the deck looks good and I might actually try to build it or one similar some time. It's too bad I sold my Omnath, Locus of Mana and traded away some of the other more expensive cards for this deck previously.

Nice deck, i recommend Hall of the Bandit Lord, is slow but you can cast eldrazi's with haste :3

Nice deck! Gotta love mana ramp! Check out my deck Omnath, Locus of Creature Ramp. Only suggestion I would make is Lurking Predators and Frontier Siege (for the Khans ability).

+1 from me!

Bassmaster thanks for the vote! Lurking Predators is a sweet card for sure, i am just pretty creature light, and the biggest of the ones that i have i want to be casting as they have cast triggers vs ETB. I used to run Frontier Siege, i ended up cutting it, its great when i have omnath on the board but when i don't its not what i want. which is why i ended up cutting it.

I am also in the unfun position of needing to cut cards to add more lands vs trying to add more to the deck! Kinda hating life atm.

August 19, 2016 6:07 p.m.

If you still looking to cut Wood Elves isn't that great compared to the rest of the land grab you already have, and with the speed your ramping the 1/1 body if kind of irrelevant Only other thing I could think of is just cut one of hte big bomb creatures if you absolutely need a cut.

Yeva,Nature's Herald can cast him from the caommand zone correct? seems like a good way to defend all the mana you built up so it does not drain out.

Thoughts on Squall Line ? Easy 1Shot all with this deck.

September 19, 2016 2:39 a.m.

Vhyne i will be picking up a Squall Line today! had never seen the card but its definitely sweet! thanks for the heads up

Vhyne says... #22

Gabtuls No problem man, and for the combo, you can play a Elderscale Wurm so that you cant get oneshoted with your own spell.

September 19, 2016 11:15 a.m.

Vhyne says... #23

Or even Platinum Emperion will be a good choice :D

September 19, 2016 11:55 a.m.

Gabtuls says... #24

Platinum Emperion is also on my to buy list, i think if i end up going with Squall Line i likely have to go with both Elderscale Wurm and Platinum Emperion

Appreciate the recomendations Vhyne going to do an overhaul this week once i decide how to slide in new kaladash cards

September 19, 2016 12:12 p.m.

You should definitely be running Gaea's Cradle in this list. Find more ways to ramp into more better ramp earlier. And find ways to protect Omnath until you can attack. I wouldn't run The Great Aurora or Nissa's Pilgrimage. There are plenty of other batter ways to get lands and Aurora isn't too helpful late game if you have a good board state. Other than that, good deck. +1. Check out my Omnath EDH to how I went about with the strategy.
