Omnath, Locus of GET THERE

Commander / EDH* RG (Gruul)

Buttermalk

Pure aggro, angry Jellybean. It's sole purpose is to nuke players life totals as quickly and aggressively as possible. The deck is designed to operate on pure gas, with little in the way of answering threats. YOU are the threat, people will answer you and when they do, you become a bigger threat.

Jellybean's got multiple gameplans, and they get executed in order of what gets drawn or what the table is. Your typical rundown will wind up looking like this:

Gameplan 1: Assemble Vala-Tron. Valakut/Vesuva/Thespian's Stage. Since this is your primary gameplan, in the early game you'll almost exclusively be fetching you Duals and Forests, to keep Mountains in stock for your ramp spells and Scapeshift.

Gameplan 2: Fast ramp into a Tooth and Nail grabbing Kiki-Jiki and Zealous Conscripts. Pretty straightforward.

Gameplan 3: Combat. While you're ramping you'll inadvertently be making lots of tokens, either from Omnath, or other sources the deck provides. Triumph of the Hordes, Moraug, and Savage Beating are your best friends for this option.

As you play the deck, you'll find yourself meeting the conditions for each gameplan as you execute one specifically. You'll often be doing Vala-Tron shenanigans, and suddenly find you have amassed a huge board of 5/5 elementals, 4/4 beasts, 6/6 dragons, etc. The goal is to simultaneously put the pressure on with each gameplan. Use the Vala-Tron pings to get around pillowfort and blockers, use the tokens to beat down those with minimal defenses. Use both on the same player that's presenting a threat to you. You WILL get boardwiped, you WILL get Omnath removed, but don't worry! The deck is designed to be played without Omnath ever leaving the command zone!

Some "hidden gameplans" to keep an eye out for:

Infinite Squirrels: Squirrel Nest + Earthcraft. Typically paired with Purphoros or Warstorm Surge.

Ping City: Perilous Forays + Earthcraft + Omnath. You'll actually find yourself often slapping down Earthcraft just to tap your recently generated Elementals that CAN'T attack so you can play more ramp and other nonsense. If you're already doing this and come across Perilous Forays, you just rip all your lands out of the deck and do a lot of Omnath pings (and hopefully Valakut as well)

Interesting synergies to shoot for: Dryad of the Ilysian Grove/ Prismatic Omen: Turn all your non-Mountain lands into Mountains as fuel for Vala-Tron. Also turns your Vala-Tron all that much sooner since Valakut now becomes a Mountain itself.
