@Didgeridooda: Your right about the Viridian Joiner, it only works in certain situations. About 7% chance of going infinite with it.
So I put a regular mana dork back into the deck. I have an even spread, I have a single land untap, double land untap, single mana dork, and a double mana dork.
@DaggerV: Hey, thanks for the suggestion. I tried Overwhelming Stampede, but it did not do as much as I expected too.
On a good day, I can have 7- 10 elfs out, but usually that number is down to 3-5. So it can not reach its max potential in here.

I gotcha. I have put a few of them in a token deck recently myself but I have not had first hand experience yet.

I find Triumph of the Hordes to be the best overrun effect. I use the stampede in my Yisan deck. They just don't really fit here.

I really like what you've done for Omnath here. Fun ideas for sure!

@MaksWell42: Thanks, it definitely fun to play. Sometimes I get caught in a game with a lot of control or shenanigans, this helps speed things up.

The very first M:tG pack I opened was an Arabian Nights pack and I pulled an Ifh-Biff Efreet. I will do anything in my power to champion a deck that runs this odd but awesome card!

@SFCD: Glad you like the card, it was an odd one to find in gatherer. Expensive to buy as well considering how old it is.
Just make sure your good on life, I had to add a few life gain elements to the deck.

Willow Satyr is one I love. I switch him between my omnath, and Yisan decks.

This is an amazing card, he is like a black Coffin Queen but instead of graveyard it is creatures in play.
I am almost tempted to run one in here, thanks for the suggestion. I think I will take out Awakening for it.

um it says that there are 101 cards in the deck. love it though and gave it upvote. Birds of Paradise? Elvish Spirit Guide? Sylvan Caryatid?

i guess birds and caryatid are not so good in a single color deck but still a nice mana rock

Thanks pauldiamond64, this is my first EDH deck I ever had. It has several iterations where I had mana sinks, voltron equipment, and so forth.
Now it is all about beating people to the punch line.
The mana package contains a unique Azusa style ramp to help with draw and accelerate ahead. I want land in hand then onto the battlefield.
Once I have finally mastered the art of killing everyone in the most efficient way possible, I will foil the deck.
Tutoring and drawing cards seem to be my main problem, I sit there with the ability to produce 30 mana and not do anything sometimes.
Also, I dont know why it says 101 cards. When I edit the deck, it says I have 100. I just counted 100 right now, so I have no idea why TAPPEDOUT says 101.

Do you have 100 in the deck? In EDH it is supposed to be 99.
The commander is the 100th card.
March 2, 2017 12:39 p.m. Edited.
@Didgeridooda :
Aye, that is the way I remember it to. But now the site says all edh decks require a commander and want the CMDR tag attached.
I delete Nam Nam then the site complains the deck needs a commander. Deleting him would bring my count down to 99.
Also, prototype is unchecked. I should not be able to save an non-standard edh deck.

could u possible order the deck based on card types. i like what youve done here but it is a bit confusing
March 2, 2017 11:28 p.m.
pauldiamond64, sure I will leave it on the default setting for a while.
Just so you know, you can always change the order of a deck by which ever category you want, and in addition to that you may sub organize the cards with a different category.

I made a budget mono green EDH too. It uses Yisan, the Wanderer Bard, and is really toolboxy. I spent 10 bucks, and used what I had, and trades to get it together, and it is pretty sweet. Just wanted to suggest that if Om nom gets a little too much for your group, and you still want to play mono green.
