Omnath, Locus of Rage as the commander is a bit of a diversion for any players unfamiliar with my deck. Make them think I'm on a landfall plan, which I'm not. Also, it draws less hate than Ruric Thar. As you might have noticed the deck is entirely permanents besides Primal Surge. That's the deck. The entire plan hinges on resolving Primal Surge. If I do, I win. However, I have won on multiple occasions by just going into beat down mode when I realized that I wasn't going to be getting it anytime soon.

I run plenty of protection for my creatures once my deck is on the battlefield. City of Solitude, Eldrazi Monument, Tajuru Preserver, and Asceticism. Urabrask the Hidden , and Fervor are to give my guys haste. Primal Rage and Craterhoof Behemoth gives trample.
