Added a nice little combo:

The list looks pretty solid! There is nothing in there that just doesn't make since. I am liking the Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger to get rid of some Indestructible threats, however, I normally win before I have to deal with any threats lol.

I would recommend Nissa's Pilgrimage. It is like a third Cultivate with a possible upside, which is never a bad thing. Plus it is coming out with a sweet FNM promo in January!

I also think Skyshroud Claim is a MUST! It is a better Explosive Vegetation that can dig for duel-lands AND they are untapped!

After a ton of play testing I am finding that 2CMC ramp (Rampant Growth) is extremely relevant. It is FANTASTIC early game, while keeping its utility late game because of our commander. It is pretty amazing to drop a land a make a 5/5 all for ! Just a thought!

VexenX: Wow. I really appreciate you commenting and taking time to explain some things.

I actually did take out Skullwinder for a Skyshroud Claim, I just forgot to make the changes here.

Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger has been pretty backbreaking when I cast it.

What would you suggest as cuts for Nissa's Pilgrimage and Rampant Growth, and possibly Nature's Lore, as I do have one lying around?

I have a pretty hard time finding things to cut. Lol.

Like I said in my page, making EDH cuts are a battle between good and best. Some cards that are situational and I would consider cutting are; Reclamation Sage, Undergrowth Champion, and Whisperwood Elemental. I would also consider your two Planeswalkers.

VexenX: I think I'm gonna drop Undergrowth Champion and Whisperwood Elemental for Rampant Growth and Nature's Lore, as they are what I currently have. I'll definitely put in Nissa's Pilgrimage when the promo comes out.

Reclamation Sage: I kind of like having a surprise artifact/enchantment removal tool to use with Chord of Calling so I may keep it for now.

Nissa, Worldwaker: She was really good when I was running 32 basic lands. She may be less useful now.

Xenagos, the Reveler: Good mana ramp when I have enough creatures, and a good ultimate to boot, so I may keep him over Nissa.

Would you consider these good reasons?

I agree with your changes 100%. However, I have a different opinion about the Planeswalkers, but i respect your desire to keep them.

VexenX: Would you care to elaborate on your opinions of the planeswalkers?

The rule of thumb for Planeswalkers overall is that they are to easy to deal with in EDH. Every meta I have played with is the second a Planeswalker hit play it gets one effect, then gets removed. That is why I try to only play with Planeswalkers that go from good to completely NUTS if they stay in play (like Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and Karn Liberated), but even then, it is not all that needed in a deck this explosive.

Xenagos, the Reveler: He ramps with creators... You want to ramp INTO Omnath, Locus of Rage early game, and THAN you make creatures. I would much rather play a couple land for 4cmc. it is better late game, you could always use more land drops with this deck, not so much the mana. However, this can be nuts with Genesis Wave, but that is not enough for me to want to include it.

Nissa, Worldwaker: I hate turning lands into creatures in EDH (unless I'm doing it to my opponents... I'm looking at you Karn, Silver Golem + Mycosynth Lattice ..). There is just WAY to many board-wipes in the game to make it worth losing your land. I understand that there are times where this can be great (Titania, Protector of Argoth), but that is few and far between.

Overall, I think this deck does AMAZING without Planeswalkers, and there are SO many better cards that can fill the space! If nothing else, Omanth, Locus of Rage always loves more land!

VexenX: You make a very good argument, therefore I will drop both planeswalkers in favor of Nissa's Pilgrimage and one other card. Should I add Farseek as more early ramp, or is there another card you would recommend?

Farseek is a great choice. The only reason I don't run Nature's Lore is because there is no foil copy... Lol

VexenX: You could always do what I do with my Pope Goblin Daretti and his Shiny Toys! deck: if it doesn't come in foil, alter it! Lol.

I did find a Farseek so I put it in. The deck works so much better with the changes I made to it.

Thanks a lot for the help!

Which copy of Nature's Lore should I have altered? My imagination is kind of limited when it comes to art..

I usually just get border extensions.

I run the Ice Age version, but the starter art might be cool full art.

Reclamation Sage and Courser of Kruphix would be pretty fitting changes for World Breaker and Mina and Denn, Wildborn.

VexenX: Thanks! I saw them and immediately had to have them. Luckily he did two so it was a perfect fit for Omnath!

I'm curious as to your reasoning to play Burgeoning.

February 14, 2016 7:19 p.m.

Guerte says... #19

Jensei: It works really well when you have a hand full of lands so you can ramp during other players' turns. Can work really nice with Thawing Glaciers, and Glaciers gets even better with Amulet of Vigor.

Eldritch Moon Review:

After going through the full spoiler, there are only three cards that could see a possible inclusion.

Decimator of the Provinces: This card is a mini Craterhoof Behemoth. With the Emerge ability, you can cast him for as cheap as three green mana for a 7/7 trample haste creature. His +2/+2 and trample giving ability is an on cast trigger, so even if he gets countered, your other creatures still gain the pump. He, however, does not as he will still be on the stack. Also being a cast ability, you can not Natural Order/Chord of Calling him into play to get the effect. This is a very iffy card.

Eldritch Evolution: A mini Natural Order. We can sac any color creature to search for any color creature with CMC 2 plus the sacked creatures CMC or less. While it's nice to be able to get any color creature, we only really want to sac or Elemental tokens, which means we either sac a good utility creature to find something, or we can only find something with 2 CMC or less. Not too sure if this will see play in here either.

Splendid Reclamation: Now this card is bonkers! Being able to return all land cards in our graveyard directly to the battlefield will give us plenty of Landfall triggers. If we have an Amulet of Vigor on the field and bring back fetch lands, we will get more triggers. This will be especially good after using Scapeshift. This is almost a guaranteed inclusion.

Don't have any possible cuts yet.

Will make an official update after release.

jts28: Thanks! I love it as well. Got some custom tokens made to go along with it.

Highly Suggest Garruk's Packleader Soul of the Harvest and Drumhunter for card draw. Maybe take out some lands because you have all of the sorcery - land acquiring spells.
