"Fifteen men on a dead man's chest
Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum!
Drink and the devil had done for the rest
Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum!
But one man of her crew alive,
What put to sea was seventy-five."

Given the recent ban of of Pod and the Khans draw mechanics, it appears that classic Modern aggro decks are very well positioned to make a comeback!
So what makes this deck different than every other fish deck out there? A few simple things.
I've maintained the aggro presence that Fish deserves. Tempo really just doesn't do this deck well, so I decided to cut back on the counter control and stick with only 2 mainboard Remand, while keeping 2 in the sideboard for as needed.
I am keeping all 4 Vapor Snag in the deck since it can not only stop Twin, hold back Tron's Wurmcoil Engine, and any other big beastie that threatens my life total, but also save my precious finned friends from a wipe when only a few points of a life total remain, or from targeted removal.
Next, a lot of aggro versions of Fish have decided to lay off the Spreading Seas. Now I'm not sure why but this card has proven time and again to be the winning piece when it comes to a solid cantrip, and also ensuring the denizens of the deep can land home without much trouble. Not only does it keep your aggro... well aggro... but it also has been proven wonderful in most match ups in screwing your opponents land base. Needless to say, Tron and Affinity HATE this card.
Lastly,
Cosi's Trickster
is a new add for my build. Originally, when I started to reconstruct this deck, I added it for Pod as well. But fact of the matter is with 10 fetches now legal in the format, and TONS of effects that force an opponent to shuffle their library, he seems to do quite a bit more work than any other 1cmc Merfolk besides Cursecatcher
So in short, I've tried really hard to make this deck do one thing, and do it extremely well. Turn dudes sideways and make sure they land their damage as much as possible!
