Personally, I'd run Meekstone and Juntu Stakes , as it locks down the board save for 2/2 creatures (like drakes!)

Proteus Staff lets you organize your entire library if used on yourself, or it can tuck an opponents general.

oh btw, idk how quickly this deck takes off, so I'm asking you. Would you think Strionic Resonator would carry its weight in this deck? or no?

Probably not because that'd be 2 for a drake. He'd be better off putting in a 1 cost cantrip card in reality; because it's 4 for the first activation, and 2 for a virtual card, not really worth it unless the game is dragging well into turn 15+ constantly.

A win con after you have a fair amount of tokens on the board, Day of the Dragons .
Love the deck, was trying to do a similar thing but I unfortunately don't have any of the Jace's.
+1 from me.

I know you're going for only 1 creature, but I play Talrand EDH as well and Stormtide Leviathan and Windreader Sphinx are both crazy helpful.

I'm not sure if this was stated yet, but a Cavern of Souls would prevent it from being countered. Maybe add Greeves or something.

Distant Melody is a great card in any talrand deck. it can sometimes be a dead card in your hand, but most of the time it is getting 4 or more cards.

I would run Gigadrowse over Gridlock . It doesn't cost an extra mana and it can tap lands. Also, since you only have the three mill cards and that definitely isn't enough to mill someone out I would replace those with something else. Maybe added protection for Talrand, Sky Summoner such as Whispersilk Cloak or Swiftfoot Boots .

Gigadrowse instead of Gridlock is much better in my opinion

I love your deck. +1 from me. I'm a little confused at how you have so few lands with a avg cmc of 3.54. Do you feel the ramp with extraplana lens is sufficient? I would really appreciate it if you could take the time to give my Talrand deck Tisk Tisk Talrand some feedback.

Make a budget version. Run Jace the unplayable instead of Karn, e.g. Also, Myriad Landscape, that land that bounces an island and taps for a blue and colorless, and also terrain generator (not that these will help keep the cost down). Anyways, well done for creativity, I'd just build it a bit differently, for one, I couldn't afford the 1000 dollar price tag haha. My meme Ixidor deck, e.g. is OK --a bit slow-- but can win casual games if left alone.
Also, why run Index? It's pretty bad compared to cantrips. Ponder Preordain and so on aren't in the deck, and if you're looking for a free filler card, run Urza's Bauble.

My lord. I never expected this deck to get discovered by anyone again. I have been out of the game for so long it isn't funny, but oddly enough logging back on here I remember everything like second nature... excluding the couple of years I've totally been out of the game and need to catch up...........
Regardless. I'll check over your deck with some feedback, and
If you have other more modern cards to suggest (Not sure why I don't use Preordain, but I do have Ponder in this deck as I use a playset in my mono blue control), I'd love to hear them as I'm hopefully going to be reviving this (I think I still have all of the pieces, excluding a few lands I used as part of a mass trade a while back.

A friend of mine built a deck with Ashling the Pilgrim , Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle and 98 Mountains in it once. But it was significantly less serious lol. It originally didn't even have Valakut and he called it 99 Problems.
