The goal is to abuse lullmage + quest for renewal to achieve total board control. Reejerey + banneret ensure things are played quickly, often allowing me to throw.my entire hand onto the board (especially if simic growth chamber is out). Sage of fables, along with reejerey can often lead to 2- 5 extra draws per turn.
The lone drowner of secrets is just in case soneone becomes unkillable (infinite life, can't lose by having no life, etc.) and synergizes well with quest for renewal and surgespanner.
Since most.of your mana will often be tapped at end-turn, foil is a nice surprise for anyone looking to take advantage.
Douser + thaumaturgist is an obvious combo for getting rid of main threats until your lullmages start kicking in, and sygg keeps him on the board once he's there.
Silvergill adept, selkie, and aquitects will give the deck a reason to be aggressive and also help to keep your hand full.
If it comes out, coat of arms is almost instant win as the board will often be flooded with merfolk by turn 6.
