One Shadow, Nine Fists (BFZ)

Standard* Midrange WUB (Esper)

DarthMjollnir

Sideboard

BFZ standard Esper Mentor deck. I play it in modern and the mana seems right to try it out in standard.

In my humble opinion, because the new standard relies heavily on sorcery speed removal (generally speaking), Monastery Mentor is in a better position that he has been. They either waste a turn killing him or let him get at least 1 or 2 monks out (hopefully more!). Combine that with stuff like Gideon making tokens/attacking and Sorin's +1 and I think there is some decent synergy here.

I'm tempted to splash Red for a few thinks like Crackling Doom or Kolaghan's Command. Alternatively, going heavier into Red and adding Soulfire Grandmaster and Mantis Rider might be interesting. 4 color decks actually seem to run a bit smoother than 3 thanks to fetchable duals.
