There is a lot of ways to make my squirrels huge and protect 'emselves from such damage wiping spells also, with the combo out, can I respond to your Anger of the Gods by tapping the last untapped creature and untap my forest, let your spell resolve, then make my army of squirrels rise again and take you down the following turn.

Love the deck. Also how isnt Rhys the Redeemed not fun in this deck. it can give you a squirrel for each squirrel you've got and plus you're running a few elves anyway so its got the synergy. plus a few elf tokens can help distract the foe from the real danger. HIDE YOUR NUTZ !!!!!!

I feel like Parallel Lives would work very well in this

Infral, I got this one for you. Paralel lives, and the sort, are possibly the most suggested card. So stop suggesting it. If he can make 1 mil squirrels, then what would be the difference between that and 2 mil? Nothing. And he doesn't want to spend turn four to play a dead drop.

Couldn't you use Druid's call and Dark steel plate and then block an op creature? Then your opponents cards just give you more squirrels. Oh, you got a 12 attack creature? 12 squirrels for me!

Oh and also use parallel lives would give you twice the tokens.

guys stop suggesting parallel lives he knows stop trolling it does no good he cant make the same amount of tokens either way no point wasting card slots when its just gonna sit in his hand

and that goes for doubling season too

Exactly, and the only reason why I'd use cards like Parallel Lives or Doubling Season, is in case of people get butthurt that I use a card that is only legal in Vintage ( Earthcraft ), so I swap it out with either of the before mentioned cards. Besides that, will I never use 'em.

Tromokratis + Druid's call + darksteel plate

November 4, 2015 7:09 p.m.

hark says... #15

anyway im not recommending or any thing but why is Doubling Season more expensive than Parallel Lives

November 4, 2015 8:36 p.m.

Cedarz says... #16

because it also adds more counters on a permanent so +1/+1 = +2/+2 and quest for the Gravelord would work faster

November 5, 2015 9:31 a.m.

Cedarz says... #17

I think that is why

November 5, 2015 9:32 a.m.

Infral says... #18

Cedarz: Too many cards of said combo worn't be that effective in the deck, and drawing on 'em with without the rest will just be bad.

hark: And also Doubling Season is worth more because it also makes all Planeswalkers stronger as their Loyality counts as counters, they enter with double their coutners and get a whole bunch back when they use their abilities.

ohh wait not Parallel Lives I ment Primal Vigor

November 6, 2015 4:51 p.m.

hark says... #20

so sorry

November 6, 2015 4:51 p.m.

Infral says... #21

hark: The reason why is because Primal Vigor works for the opponent as well, which is something you don't really want, except if you're doing some group hug shenanigans in EDH. c:

ohh ok thank you for the help i was wondering about that FOR A LONG TIME as its like a 3rd of the price for next to the same thing

BainbridgeYew: In response to you casting Whelming Wave would I just tap a squirrel to untap the land enchanted with Squirrel Nest, let your spell resolve, then after everything has been returned to the hands, then I'll tap the forest for a 1/1 squirrel token and then create my army of squirrels once again. Easiest way to counter this combo is to just destroy the enchantments before I activate 'em. c:

hark says... #24

is there any removal that can kill these invincible squirrels

November 28, 2015 6:03 p.m.

Infral says... #25

BainbridgeYew: Wouldn't it just be easier to use a Naturalize on one of my combo pieces before I can activate 'em? That way wouldn't you hurt yourself too with a Tragic Arrogance c:
