You also swap Deathreap Ritual for Avatar of Woe. If you do that this will be modern legal

+1 just for the Glissa + Executioner's Capsule combo. But I don't think it will last 3 turns vs. control or combo decks.I would give you another +1 for the inclusion of Swarmyard if I could. :-)

Thank you Urbanned. If I'm using Thornbite Staff with Vampire Nighthawk it's also an deadly combo.

Asdeweff Yes I am, and as you see I'm proud of it! ;-)

shedidthistome it's already be mentioned a lot, I just can't remember why I didn't used it. I going to put it on the sideboard and swap it with Prey Upon

I personally don't really see the point of Deadly Allure. If you're using it for the "must be blocked" effect, I think normal spot removal would do what you want better. The only things in the deck that don't have natural deathtouch are Reaper of the Wilds (which can gain deathtouch), and Hornet Nest (which can't do damage), so I don't really think it adds anything to our deck in the long run.

So you say that prey upon is a better choice? Red_X

Whoa where'd the Hornet Nest come from lol? Why not Hornet Queen?

If you're ever able to pull off Vraska the Unseen's -7, I use Rogue's Passage to sneak off the combat damage, but you don't have to since Vraska is a pretty solid golgari planeswalker option for removal anyways.

The reason I go for Hornet Nest is because of it's mana cost and it's ability still triggers. About Hornet Queen I will get 4 1/1 but when Hornet Queen dies and I regenerate her with Swarmyard she's not entering the battlefield again. Or am I wrong? If I'm wrong Hornet Queen will be a lot better, besides the mana cost.

No you're right, I didn't think about Swarmyard. That's a good call bruh.

No, regenerating just removes damage and taps the creature. Prey upon would probably work better than Deadly allure, my thing is that there is a lot of instant creature removal that makes it pointless. Lightning Strike against a deathtouch creature when you're using either Allure or Prey Upon just allows your opponent to 2-for-1 you on your turn. I'd probably just stick to regular spot removal such as Doom Blade, Ultimate Price, Murderous Cut, etc. I think that pretty much any of the spot removal mentioned in the previous comments works better than the sorceries.

Umm.. I'm pretty sure ThisIsTheSix is right..

614.8. Regeneration is a destruction-replacement effect. The word "instead" doesn't appear on the card but is implicit in the definition of regeneration. "Regenerate [permanent]" means "The next time [permanent] would be destroyed this turn, instead remove all damage marked on it and tap it. If it's an attacking or blocking creature, remove it from combat." Abilities that trigger from damage being dealt still trigger even if the permanent regenerates. See rule 701.12.

In order for damage to be "removed," it needs to take place to begin with. Combat begins, the nest is declared for a regeneration shield, combat damage takes place, the effect is triggered, all damage is then removed, and the nest is removed from combat/tapped.

Hi Hashtag-Netdeck im not a real tournament player, i just play for fun with a couple of friends.

But the reason I play Deathreap Ritual is because of Reaper of the Wilds. Then you draw the right cards.

If you dont want tot use Deathreap Ritual i recommend Avatar of Woe

And thanks for the +1 ;-)

Viridian Longbow? I like the Thornbite Staff, I have an artifact recursion EDH deck with Glissa as my general, and I think I might use that in the deck. +1

Thanks anyway for the tip and +1

you think about Garruk, the Veil-Cursed  Flip for more death touching tokens and a bit of utility? it's probably not that practical, but it could be fun. also, Trading Post could be a good way to grab morbid triggers, recover capsules and thornbite when glissa is out of play, create creatures, and recur draw with glissa recovering.
