between Abrupt Decay, Dismember, Maelstrom Pulse, or a Thornbite Staff interaction i think you have enough removal to deal with fliers when you don't have nighthawk, and black creatures until you sideboard. anti flying hate, while common in green, is actually pretty niche and since you have access to black removal, i doubt you really need it.

as for Darksteel Plate, from what i can tell the deck tries to put creatures onto the field and then generate card advantage off that due to the inherent power of death touch. darksteel plate is honestly better when you more rely more on a single powerful creature and is very slow even for casual. if you were thinking about more equipment, i would suggest something like Sword of Fire and Ice for the increased card gain and added creature/planeswalker removal as well as a bit of protection.

as for removing large numbers of creatures for those colors, Damnation is kinda the gold standard for a straight mass removal effect in black, Toxic Deluge could be good as a cheaper, both economically and mana wise, alternative that will be easier on the mana base, you have Drown in Sorrow which i am a fan of the idea though haven't gotten to really play it, and Golgari Charm might be useful if for the most part you are dying to 1 toughness creatures like 1/1s and 2/1s, as well as let you block with a bunch of things and keep it all when creatures get a bit bigger.

to clarify earlier i was saying more that i think x3 Reaper of the Wilds, x1 Avatar of Woe, and x2 Wurmcoil Engine might be a good mix for fun late game, but that's just purely me eyeballing it, i encourage you to toy around with different nubers of stuff and test with proxies till you like how it plays. with the recursion you have available x2 Wurmcoil Engine should be more than enough, and a 1 of something like Avatar of Woe is good cause it makes it more likely you will draw it later in the game when it is useful rather than early when it isn't.

as for the creatures/mana thing, i would encourage you to just look around at maybe trying to find some kind of mana sink that you can utilize effectively in this deck, and maybe add more draw engines like Erebos, God of the Dead. black has alot of decent draw stuff like Phyrexian Arena and Sign in Blood, and green has some interesting maverick cards like Harmonize or Snake Umbra.

the main thing though is that a deck will always have something more you can do with it, so keep up the testing and trying out different styles of cards.

Wow Atsuma thanks for the comment you clarified a lot with this comment!! Big thanks for this already!!

If I would use Sword of Fire and Ice on my Glissa, the Traitor and I attack a planeswalker, would the ability of Sword of Fire and Ice trigger? Or does a planeswalker doens't count as 'player'?

About the mass removal; I don't think Damnation would be a good choice in this deck, because I regenerate a lot. With Damnation I can't regenerate my creatures. I personally think Toxic Deluge with Golgari Charm would be much better! All creatures would die except for mine because I can regenerate them with Golgari Charm.

You're also right about my creatures; I have to toy around to see what's best for me.

Thanks!!

I think I just found a sick combo for this deck! Royal Assassin or Avatar of Woe with Thornbite Staff.

Hello there.

This is fantastic.

One TINY thing but it is definitely advantageous.

Wasteland Viper is strictly better

Than Typhoid Rats

1/2 vs 1/1 and the stupid Bloodrush ability is worth it occasionally.

I am working on something similar if you want to peek at it

Crystal Meth Touch

Hi BrandonJamesCAC, in most cases its much better! But not in this one and thats because of the Swarmyard. I try to regenerate as much as possible

In fact, the viper is really just Deadly Recluse, and no one really uses the bloodrush ability any way. Typhoid Rats is a very good one-drop.

Also, I was just looking at this deck the other day, and I was thinking about how much you might benefit from a Duress or Thoughtseize. A Liliana Vess might also work, because you can search for Glissa or an artifact. You may also want to put a Bile Blight or two in the sideboard for when you play against those annoying token decks. Hornet Queen would be amazing with your other deathtouch cards. It pairs nicely with your Swarmyard. And while your at it, why not try a Profane Command? If you do end up playing a card like Damnation, you can just bring your best card back. Also, Drain the Well is not really benefitting you in any way other than being up a land.

Bloodsoaked Champion is just as good as Bloodghast, but neither have deathtouch.

Just some thoughts to consider.

I think Duress isn't that good, Thoughtseize on the other hand! But at the moment I haven't got that much money. I own Inquisition of Kozilek maybe it's a good alternative? As you say about that Liliana Vess I may be a good choice over my Vraska the Unseen because I doesn't play her that much.

Hornet Queen has someone suggested before, but I ignored it. The reason why I did that is because of the Hornet Nest it's ability still triggers so may army would be larger (with the Swarmyard). Also it's CMC is lower that Hornet Queen.

I'm not a big fan of the Damnation because I regenerate a lot! So I probably should play Day of Judgement?!?!?!! together with Golgari Charm, but I don't play white so..

i'd be curious on the interaction, but with how many creatures your deck tends to keep off the table, i'd think the ability to wipe non-land permanents with Vraska the Unseen and maybe outright kill them if the game drones on for some reason could be pretty good, though i think Liliana Vesswould be better if you see alot of control or something you need specific answers to maybe? both are a bit pricey at 5 though, the golden one if you ever wanted to deal with the $ cost might even be Liliana of the Veil for abuse with +1 faster than Liliana Vess and one sided with Glissa, the Traitor, and make them sac creatures you can't touch do to totem armor, hexproof, indestructibility, etc.
